Reykjavik in Iceland is 64 degrees north, which means it is almost in the arctic circle. Because of this, it has nearly 24-hour sunlight on June 21st! To take advantage of the sunlight, we go for a boat tour and see some puffins as well as the sunset at 12:03am.

MIDNIGHT SUMMER SOLSTICE TRIP // ICELAND
When editing this MIDNIGHT SUMMER SOLSTICE TRIP // ICELAND video I felt really zen and reflected on the moments you experience during your road trip.
No voice, no bullshit... just pure nature during the summer solstice starting at the black sand beach in Vík, canyon exploring just outside of Vík, heading into the cave overlooking Reynisfjara, heading over to Skogafoss and the trip finalised by some insane fog situation with the Icelandic horses.
Remember to be in the moment as they happen and realise the memories they will make when you look back a week from now or years from now... BE IN THE MOMENT.
We startet the trip at 10pm and ending at 3am.... loved every moment of it!

Iceland's Secret Solstice walkthrough
On Friday June 17th around 6pm.
ICELAND IN 8 DAYS: Campervan the RING ROAD in SEPTEMBER
This is a video highlighting mine and my girlfriends trip to Iceland in September of 2018. September is the shoulder season so while it may have been a bit colder many things were less expensive and there was fewer people at the main attractions and campsites. We rented a campervan and drove around the Ring Road along with the Golden Circle and Snaefell Peninsula. We felt a self-guided tour of the island was the best option and made the most out of everyday seeing many of the main attractions. There is still so much left to see and we are definitely planning to go again!
Outlined Itinerary of where we stayed and what we saw each day:
Day 1: Skógar Campsite - Blue Lagoon, Pick up campervan in Reykjavik, Seljalandsfoss
Day 2: Eyjolfsstadir Campsite - Skógafoss, Glacier at Sólheimajökulsvegur, Dyrhólaey, Reynisfjara Beach, Dverghamrar, Haoldukvisl, Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon, Diamond Beach, Höfn, Lækjavik.
Day 3: Reykjahlíð (Hlíð) Campsite/Cottages - Egilsstaðir, Seyðisfjarðarkirkja, Gufufoss, Dettifoss, Áspyrgi, Húsavík.
Day 4: Búðardalur Campground - Mývatn Lake, Goðafoss, Víkurskarð, Akureyri, Hvammstangi
Day 5: Snorrastaðir - Hvitserkur, West Fjords, Dynjandi, met an Icelandic Doggo
Day 6: Skjòl Campgrounds - Snaefell Peninsula = Gerðuberg Cliffs, Ytri Tunga, Búðakirkja, Londrangar, Vatnshellir Cave, Saxhólar Crater, Skarðsvík Beach, Kerlingarfoss, Kirkjufell and Kirkjufellsfoss, Kolgrafarfjördur.
Day 7: Grafarvogur Campsite - Golden Circle = Geysir, Gullfoss, þingvellir National Park, Kerid Crater, Mosfellskirkja.
Day 8: Mosskogar Camping - Reykjavík, Grótta Island Lighthouse, Hallgrimskirkja, Reykjavik Roasters, Reykjavik Street Dog

QUICK TIPS:
NOT ALL CAMPSITES are open year-round.
GROCERY SHOP at Bonus (or Kronan) for cheaper food.
HOT DOGS are good, even from gas stations.
GASOLINE/DEISEL is expensive.
EARLY ARRIVAL to main attractions helps avoid larger crowds.
REUSE COFFEE CUPS from many gas stations for FREE REFILLS!
WATERPROOF jacket is very valuable to have.
WATERPROOF hiking boots are essential.
