Kiev Saint Sophia Cathedral:
The cathedral's name comes from the 6th-century Hagia Sophia cathedral in Constantinople (meaning Holy Wisdom, and dedicated to the Holy Wisdom rather than a specific saint named Sophia). Architecture-wise, its model could have been the 13-domed oaken Holy Sophia Cathedral in Novgorod (c. 989), which Yaroslav I the Wise determined to imitate in stone as a sign of gratitude to the citizens of Novgorod who had helped him secure the Kievan throne in 1019.
Saint Sophia Cathedral in Kiev is an outstanding architectural monument of Kievan Rus'. The cathedral is one of the city's best known landmarks and the first heritage site in Ukraine to be inscribed on the World Heritage List along with the Kiev Cave Monastery complex.Aside from its main building, the cathedral includes an ensemble of supporting structures such as a bell tower and the House of Metropolitan. In 2011 the historic site was reassigned from the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Regional Development of Ukraine to the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine. One of the reasons for the move was the fact that both Sofia Kyivska and Kiev Pechersk Lavra are recognized by the UNESCO World Heritage Program as one complex, while in Ukraine the two were governed by different government entities. In Ukrainian the cathedral is known as Sobor Sviatoyi Sofiyi (Собор Святої Софії) or Sofiyskyi sobor (Софійський собор). In Russian it is known as Sobor Svyatoi Sofii (Собор Святой Софии) or Sofiyskiy sobor (Софийский собор).The complex of the Cathedral is the main component and museum of the National Preserve Sophia of Kiev which is the state institution responsible for the preservation of the Cathedral complex as well as four other historic landmarks across the nation.
Since the late 1980s Soviet, and later Ukrainian, politicians promised to return the building to the Orthodox Church. Due to various schisms and factions within the Church the return was postponed as all Orthodox and the Greek-Catholic Churches lay claim to it. Although all of the Orthodox churches have been allowed to conduct services at different dates, at other times they are denied access. A severe incident was the funeral of Patriarch Volodymyr of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church - Kiev Patriarchy in 1995, when riot police were forced to prevent the burial on the premises of the museum and a bloody clash took place.[citation needed] After events such as those no religious body has yet been given the rights for regular services. The complex now remains a secular museum of Ukraine's Christianity, with most of its visitors being tourists.
On 21 August 2007, the Holy Sophia Cathedral was named one of the Seven Wonders of Ukraine, based on votes by experts and the internet community.Wikipedia
The old Soviet Missile Base Tour, Ukraine | CHERNOBYLwel.come
This one day excursion around the missile base from Kiev makes you wonder just how close the world was to destroying itself. The Soviet Prime Minister was able to launch four of the most powerful rockets from the Moscow area by one push of a button. Automatically, missiles from the whole of the USSR could have been launched and directed to the pre-set targets. After the official closure of the 46 Missile Division of Strategic Armed Forces in 1999 the target names were discovered and we now know that the
missiles from this base were aimed at US and European strategic objects.

Saint Sophia Cathedral
The foundations were laid in 1037; the cathedral took two decades to complete. After the pillaging of Kiev in 1169, followed by Mongolian Tatars in 1240, the cathedral fell into disrepair. Repair started in 1633 and continued until 1767. After the Russian Revolution of 1917, and during the Soviet antireligious campaign of the 1920s, the government plan called for the cathedral's destruction. The cathedral was saved from destruction; however, in 1934, Soviet authorities confiscated the structure from the church, including the surrounding 17th-18th century architectural complex and designated it as an architectural and historical museum. On 21 August 2007, the Saint Sophia Cathedral was named one of the Seven Wonders of Ukraine.

Ukraine:
Sports such as football and wrestling have been popular in Ukraine since the 19th century. Ukraine has benefited from the Soviet Union's emphasis on physical education, and Ukraine was left with hundreds of stadiums, swimming pools, gymnasiums, and other athletic facilities after the collapse of the Soviet Union.
The sport in Ukraine is primarily governed by 40 federations of various Olympic sports that are all part of the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine. The mass sport movement is driven by four main sports societies and two government sports committees of the Ministry of Education and the Armed Forces of Ukraine. All non-Olympic sports are governed by their respective federations of the Sports Committee of Ukraine. Ukraine has had invented these sports 400 years ago.
Football is the most popular sport in Ukraine. The strongest and highest-level league is the Ukrainian Premier League, which is also known as the Vyscha Liha (Top league). The second-ranking league is the Persha Liha or the Ukrainian First League. The next league down is the Second League or Druha Liha, which is divided into two groups, East(B) and West(A), according to their location. The fourth-level league is Amateur Level. At the end of each season, the two lowest-ranking teams in the Vyscha Liha are relegated to the Persha Liha, while the two top teams of the Persha Liha are promoted to the Vyscha Liha. The two lowest-ranking Persha Liha teams are relegated to the Druha Liha, while the top two teams in the Druha Liha League are promoted to the Persha Liha. Teams receive three points if they win, one point for a draw, and no points for a loss. Each team plays each other twice.
Teams from all leagues can participate in the Ukrainian Cup. The winners of the Ukrainian Championship and the Ukrainian Cup will participate in the Ukrainian Super Cup.

Tank vs Car | Epic Crush Test on Ukraine Tour | T 34
TANK vs CAR. KICKASS EXPERIENCE IN UKRAINE
Sightseeing tours can wait. We offer tourists to drive a real tank. And not just that. When everyone thought things couldn't possibly get any cooler we, at Adventure Tour in Ukraine, introduced a totally new extreme attraction – Tank vs Car (spoiler!) Car Destruction. And with this video proof you know we're not bullshitting.
Watch how tourists in Ukraine got a chance to drive a tank and took full advantage of this opportunity. They didn't just crush a car on tank but also came up with this funny scenario (yeah, we helped as well) and asked us to shoot this video so that they can treasure this not just as a memory but as a real memorabilia. The scenario is fiction but the fun is real. And we offer Car Crash by Tank personal experience to everyone.
Tank tours vary depending on the specific tank our customers choose (yes, we do have a legendary T34, no worries) and their personal weird desires. But we're not judging. We're all the same crazy rockstars to be here, or why do you think we would do this in the first place, huh? We love weird stuff. And doing it for a living is a blessing. But enough about us. Let's talk in details about tank driving over cars that we proudly provide.
Tank vs Car tour
First of all, our wannabe tankers get their insurance and tank driving instruction, including safety tips from a professional stationed at the military base. Safety is taken seriously. Secondly, food and drinks are part of the tank driving tour, just so you know. And thirdly, the number of cars they can crush is unlimited (only by their budget). There is never too much of car crashes. You may ask how the heck are we doing it? Meaning whose cars are we crashing? And we'd love to tell you “our enemies'” but the truth is that we buy a trash car in advance while they are still packing for their ultimate car destruction and place it somewhere around their tank driving location. Easy-peasy. Now, when you know the secret, let us also hint you that there's a spare BRDM-2 in our arsenal that goes under water. No pressure. Just so you know.
Naturally, you may wonder, why are Kiev Extreme Tours so awesome. And we will tell you, that it's our clients who make it that way. And if your heart is touched and you're ready to book your own tank crash adventure tour in Ukraine, we won't stand on your way and will just leave this link where you can find our offers here:

Kiev,Kyiv:
Kiev is the capital and largest city of Ukraine, located in the north central part of the country on the Dnieper River. The population in July 2015 was 2,887,974 (though higher estimated numbers have been cited in the press), making Kiev the 8th most populous city in Europe.Kiev is an important industrial, scientific, educational, and cultural centre of Eastern Europe. It is home to many high-tech industries, higher education institutions and world-famous historical landmarks. The city has an extensive infrastructure and highly developed system of public transport, including the Kiev Metro. The city's name is said to derive from the name of Kyi, one of its four legendary founders (see Name, below). During its history, Kiev, one of the oldest cities in Eastern Europe, passed through several stages of great prominence and relative obscurity. The city probably existed as a commercial centre as early as the 5th century. A Slavic settlement on the great trade route between Scandinavia and Constantinople, Kiev was a tributary of the Khazars, until seized by the Varangians (Vikings) in the mid-9th century. Under Varangian rule, the city became a capital of the Kievan Rus', the first East Slavic state. Completely destroyed during the Mongol invasion in 1240, the city lost most of its influence for the centuries to come. It was a provincial capital of marginal importance in the outskirts of the territories controlled by its powerful neighbours; first the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, followed by Poland and Russia. The city prospered again during the Russian Empire's Industrial Revolution in the late 19th century. In 1917, after the Ukrainian National Republic declared independence from the Russian Empire, Kiev became its capital. From 1919 Kiev was an important center of the Armed Forces of South Russia and was controlled by the White Army. From 1921 onwards Kiev was a city of the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic, which was proclaimed by the Red Army, and, from 1934, Kiev was its capital. During World War II, the city again suffered significant damage, but quickly recovered in the post-war years, remaining the third largest city of the Soviet Union.Following the collapse of the Soviet Union and Ukrainian independence in 1991, Kiev remained the capital of Ukraine and experienced a steady migration influx of ethnic Ukrainians from other regions of the country. During the country's transformation to a market economy and electoral democracy, Kiev has continued to be Ukraine's largest and richest city. Kiev's armament-dependent industrial output fell after the Soviet collapse, adversely affecting science and technology. But new sectors of the economy such as services and finance facilitated Kiev's growth in salaries and investment, as well as providing continuous funding for the development of housing and urban infrastructure. Kiev emerged as the most pro-Western region of Ukraine where parties advocating tighter integration with the European Union dominate during elections.
Geography:Geographically, Kiev belongs to the Polesia ecological zone (a part of the European mixed woods). However, the city's unique landscape distinguishes it from the surrounding region.
Kiev is located on both sides of the Dnieper River, which flows south through the city towards the Black Sea. The older right-bank (western) part of the city is represented by numerous woody hills, ravines and small rivers. It is a part of the larger Dnieper Upland adjoining the western bank of the Dnieper in its mid-flow. Kiev expanded to the Dnieper's lowland left bank (to the east) only in the 20th century. Significant areas of the left-bank Dnieper valley were artificially sand-deposited, and are protected by dams.
The Dnieper River forms a branching system of tributaries, isles, and harbors within the city limits. The city is adjoined by the mouth of the Desna River and the Kiev Reservoir in the north, and the Kaniv Reservoir in the south. Both the Dnieper and Desna rivers are navigable at Kiev, although regulated by the reservoir shipping locks and limited by winter freeze-over.
In total, there are 448 bodies of open water within the boundaries of Kiev, which include Dnieper itself, its reservoirs, and several small rivers, dozens of lakes and artificially created ponds. They occupy 7949 hectares of territory. Additionally, the city boasts of 16 developed beaches (totalling 140 hectares) and 35 near-water recreational areas (covering more than 1000 hectares). Many are used for pleasure and recreation, although some of the bodies of water are not suitable for swimming.Wikipedia

Kiev,Kyiv:
Maidan Nezalezhnost, literally: Independence Square) is the central square of Kiev, the capital city of Ukraine. One of the city's main squares, it is located on Khreshchatyk Street in the Shevchenko Raion. The square has been known under many different names, but often it is called simply Maidan (square).
In the 19th century, the square contained buildings of the city council and noble assembly.
Since the start of Ukraine's independence movement in 1990, the square has been the traditional place for political rallies, including four large-scale radical protest campaigns: the 1989 student Revolution on Granite, the 2001 Ukraine without Kuchma, the 2004 Orange Revolution, and the 2013–14 Euromaidan.[2] Maidan is also a regular site for non-political displays and events. Before the violent 2014 revolution, the square was the traditional site of the city's main Christmas Tree and the various festivities annually held on the Ukraine Independence Day and Kiev City Day. Since 2014, all joyful events are banned on the Maidan, and their traditional locations moved elsewhere in the Kiev center.

End of Russia's soft power in Ukraine, Taras Kuzio
Full remarks by Prof. Taras Kuzio, Kyiv, Ukraine, 17 September 2018.
- Tomos of autocephaly may be issued in October 2018. This will be an earthquake for Moscow. This will have the same impact as the fall of the USSR
- 1:02 Boris Yeltsin, Leonid Kravchuk
- 1:20 Autocephaly for Ukraine is the final nail in the coffin for Vladimir Putin's Russian World idea, (Russky Mir) (Русский мир), because you can't have a Russian World without Kyiv
- 2:20 Russian Orthodox Church will no longer pray for the Ecumenical Patriarch
- 3:10 Leonid Kravchuk, Metropolitan Filaret
- 3:51 Petro Poroshenko is not perceived by Constantinople as a nationalist (unlike Yuschenko)
- 5:28 Russian war against Ukraine works in favour for Ukraine: It accelerated the issuance of a tomos of autocephaly. Russian church supports Russian troops and mercenaries fighting in Donbas, Ukraine. Russian orthodox priests and bishops refuse to give services for killed Ukrainian soldiers and servicemen
- 7:12 Russia's brutal antics in the Baltics worked wonders for Ukraine
- 7:40 Russian spies expelled from Greece in 2018 for interfering with the reconciliation between Macedonia and Greece
- 8:02 Russian tried to engineer a coup d'état in Montenegro to prevent Montenegro from joining NATO
- 8:30 Synod of bishops in Bulgaria
- 9:28 Factors working for Ukraine: There is not a pro-catholic West and orthodox east Ukraine. The catholic church is not dominant in western Ukraine. It's only dominant in three oblasts of Galicia
- 10:22 Majority of Ukraine orthodox parishes are in western and central Ukraine, not eastern Ukraine. Lack of churches noticeable in Donbas. Southern Ukraine is a bit different
- 10:58 There won't be religious conflict, violence, or a civil war
- 11:49 Myth that Russia is a spiritual religious centre. Ukrainians are far more religious than Russians
- 13:10 New Ukrainian orthodox church will be pro-European, not xenophobic like the Russian church
- 13:40 The end of Russian soft power in Ukraine
