Lawn programs: 2:00 p.m. every Sundays from March through October, are presented by a different cottage. The music, dance, traditional costumes, arts, crafts, and ethnic foods from that country are on stage, in the cottage, and in the food booths. All the cottages are open from 2:00 p.m. To 4:00 p.m. on Sundays.

Founded in 1885 by Hampton Story and E.L. Babcock, Coronado sits on a peninsula just 5 miles from downtown San Diego.
If you're staying downtown, you can reach Coronado Island via the 2 1/2-mile long Coronado Bridge, or hop aboard the Coronado Ferry, which departs Broadway Pier nine times daily.
Start your visit at the Hotel Del Coronado, one of the world's most beautiful Victorian seaside resorts. Built in 1888, the Del remains one of the hottest vacation spots in California, complete with luxury vacation villas, gourmet dining and stunning ocean views.
The Coronado Historical Association offers walking tours of the Hotel Del and some of Coronado's famous buildings. Don't miss a peek at Wizard of Oz author L Frank Baum's home on Star Park Circle (1101 Star Park Circle), or the infamous Spreckels Mansion (1043 Ocean Blvd.), built by Hotel Del owner John Spreckels in 1907. In between sunbathing, you can head into Mootime Creamery for some hand-scooped gourmet ice cream, then come back at sunset for a signature Coronado Margarita at the Hotel Del Cabana Bar.
Coronado Village runs along Orange Avenue, a chic little shopping district that's packed with luxury boutiques, theaters and charming restaurants. It's a great place to ride your bike, linger over a frozen yogurt, or join a Coronado Segway Tour.
A few miles south, Silver Strand State Beach beckons visitors with its breezy winds that are perfect for kite surfing. For something more laid-back, the Gondola Company offers romantic sunset gondola rides in Coronado Cays.
As one of the most dog-friendly cities in California, Coronado has plenty of places to take your pup. Real Estate on Coronado Island
Coronado, aka Coronado Island, is located in San Diego California just across San Diego Bay from San Diego's downtown area. This nice area was praised for having the best beach in the United States, as ranked by the Laboratory for Coastal Research. This city is home to three beautiful, and major, resorts: Hotel Del Coronado, Loews Coronado Bay Resort, and Coronado Island Marriot. People should enjoy real estate in Coronado for it's wonderful beaches, nice warm and windy climate, and highly rated restaurants that provide a nice variety of cuisine choices. One of its main attractions would have to be its two live theatre companies: Lamb's Players Theatre, which is San Diego's third largest theatre company, and the Coronado Playhouse. Festivals also play a big part in making Coronado a fun place to explore. Ever 4th of July they host their popular July 4 parade. Its Independence Day activities start off with a 15 kilometer run/walk at dawn. In the day, they have many swimming activities, a two hour parade, a concert in Spreckels park, many art attractions, and then finishes off the day with the spectacular fireworks that protrude over Glorietta Bay. All in all, being part of the city with one of the most famous beaches in the world and many festivities is a great place for your real estate.

San Diego - a 3 day visit
Flying in the San Diego, California USA we took a 110 bus to our hotel in the Gaslight district. We then walked towards downtown past the Santa Fe terminal and past the Maritime museum. The next day we went to the very impressive Balboa park and visited a few of its 15 major museums & zoo, including the Museum of art, Museum of Man and Alcazar garden before taking a bus and tram to San Diego Old Town. The next day we took a ferry to Coronado Island, walked down Orange Avenue, past Spreckels Park and had lunch in the Victorian Hotel Del Coronado (The Del). Back on the mainland we went round the USS Midway aircraft carrier museum then through the new shopping are of Seaport Village. We finished our visit to San Diego by hiring a car and having a late breakfast in La Jolla just north of the city with its basking seals. We then headed off to Palm Springs for the next leg of our trip.
