ST KILDA PIER MELBOURNE AUSTRALIA PT.1
Providing panoramic views of the Melbourne skyline and Port Phillip Bay, the pier is a popular destination for strolling, cycling, rollerblading and fishing. Catch a ferry to Williamstown, enjoy a snack at the kiosk or try to spot the penguins and native water rats from the breakwater. Whatever your preference, St Kilda Pier provides an unforgettable experience right in the heart of Melbourne.
(St Kilda) Pier's history dates back to 1853 when the (St Kilda) Pier and Jetty Company constructed a wooden jetty to assist the early settlers in unloading timber, building materials and firewood to St Kilda. Not long after its construction the small jetty fell victim to a stormy Port Phillip Bay and was washed away.
The historic (St Kilda) Pier Kiosk was built in 1904 and has undergone several renovations in its time.

St Kilda Beach in Melbourne Australia
A travel guide for visiting St Kilda, Melbourne's most famous beach located just 6km south of Melbourne's city center. St Kilda is also home to a colony of over 1,000 penguins. The best time to see the penguins is either at dawn or at desk. St Kilda has a very nice beach boardwalk, an amusement park (Luna Park), and a neat little main street with lots of restaurants and bakeries. Take trams 3a, 16, 96 to get to St Kilda.

St. Kilda Penguins in Australia!
We saw the St. Kilda Penguins in Australia and loved them! If you are going to Australia, you need to do this! We stayed in Melbourne, Australia and visited St. Kilda Beach! We walked all throughout the city and my most favorite part of all was watching the penguins on St. Kilda Beach! The penguins are seriously like 3 feet away from you and so cute!!

About Us!
If you had told me a year ago that we were going to sell all of our stuff to start backpacking the world, I would have called you a liar. Decisions like the one we made start with an inflection point. A point where you realize that life can never be the same anymore. After a challenging, and painful year in 2017, we decided we needed to go out and live the life we wanted to live, instead of watching it on someone else’s YouTube Channel. We had given everything we had, physically and emotionally, for other’s dreams and were ready to work that hard for ourselves. From rock bottom, Chase for Adventure was born.
The Chase Begins
We moved in with our parents, sold everything we own including our cars, and paid off $70,000 worth of debt. We worked 70hrs/week over the last year trying to save up $15,000 to make our dreams come true. Now, we are travel journalists who showcase the beauty in different cultures and inspire others to chase their dreams through our YouTube Channel and website Chase for Adventure. We want to show others that if they want something bad enough, they’ll figure out how to get it; show people who are struggling that they can make the light at the end of their tunnel. Chase for Adventure is more than just a travel vlog and blog; it’s the chronicles of what it’s like to have a dream and do whatever it takes to attain it.

MORNING SUNRISE IN MELBOURNE AUSTRALIA | Walking Along St. Kilda Beach Pier, Melbourne, Australia
This is what a morning sunrise looks like in Melbourne, Australia. I was walking along the popular St. Kilda Beach Pier in Melbourne, Australia at 7:00am in the morning.
It was a very nice, quiet morning. I could all you could hear were the sounds of the birds and seagulls. With the still beach water washing up on the beach.
This is the main pier at St. Kilda beach, it gets really busy during the summer seasons.
At the end of the pier sits an iconic restaurant. Which was burnt down in 2003 but was later restored.
Behind the restaurants is home to many penguins that come out at night. So it's a great opportunity to see these beautiful creatures freely roaming the area.
No flash photography is allowed in that area, for obvious reasons.
So if you want to see some penguins be sure to come here at night.
St. Kilda beach is just 6km from Melbourne city center. So be sure to check this beach out if you are visiting Melbourne.
And if you can wake up early enough, come and see the morning sunrise from here. It's beautiful as you can see.
