Explanation retieved from Wikipedia:
Vignoles is a complex hybrid wine grape variety that was developed by J.F. Ravat originally named Ravat 51. According to Ravat, Ravat 51 was the result of a cross made in 1930 using the complex hybrid wine grape Seibel 6905 (also known as Le Subereux) and a clone of Pinot Noir known as Pinot de corton.[1] Originally named Vignoles by the Finger Lakes Wine Growers Association in 1970, genetic testing has recently proved that Vignoles does not share any major genetic markers in common with Seibel 6905 or Pinot Noir. Thus, Vignoles is unrelated to the Ravat 51 grapevine that was imported into the USA in 1949 and the parentage of Vignoles is currently unknown.

John (Joaquin Phoenix) performs Cocaine Blues and gets the prisoners revved up in Folsom Prison.
FILM DESCRIPTION:
James Mangold's Walk the Line tells the life story of country music legend Johnny Cash (Joaquin Phoenix), focusing primarily on the long courtship he had with June Carter (Reese Witherspoon). The film is structured as an extended flashback opening with Cash readying to take the stage at his historic Folsom Prison Concert. The film touches on his childhood, relating a horrific early incident from his life and establishing the troubled relationship he would have with his father (Robert Patrick). Cash joins the military and leaves home. During his time in the armed services he begins writing songs and romances a hometown girl (Ginnifer Goodwin). After the end of his duty he settles down and attempts to begin a music career, but his wife has trouble adjusting to his dreams. Cash auditions for Sam Phillips (Dallas Roberts), signs to Sun Records, and soon finds himself on tour with a roster of young soon-to-be legends that includes Elvis Presley (Tyler Hilton) and Jerry Lee Lewis (Waylon Malloy Payne). On this tour he meets June Carter, the daughter of the famous Carter family, and they take a liking to each other, although she refuses any serious advances from him. Cash gains world-wide fame thanks in part to the inspiration he gets from June, but eventually his marriage crumbles and he develops a serious drug addiction. The film is based on Cash's autobiographies. Phoenix and Witherspoon performed all of their own singing in the movie, just as Sissy Spacek and Beverly D'Angelo did in Coal Miner's Daughter a quarter-century before.

Clare of Assisi: From Historical Figure to Saintly Model
Catherine M. Mooney, STM associate professor of Church history
October 11, 2017
Presenter: Catherine M. Mooney
If you like this you might also be interested in our Mary Magdala Day Celebration series:
Recent research about Clare of Assisi has confirmed some former scholarly opinions and upended others about this historical figure. Fully committed to Francis of Assisi’s religious program, she helped forge a new form of women’s religious life that transformed traditional monasticism via a more radical poverty, a consensual style of community life, and an insistence that she and her sisters belonged to the Franciscan movement as fully as Francis’s friars. In this presentation Mooney discusses highlights of her recent book on Clare of Assisi’s and her allies’ struggles and shares her current research on how Clare, after her death, was transformed into a Saint whose image was manipulated to reflect the varying agendas of popes, friars, artists, and others.

Former New York Attorney General Robert Abrams Speaks at BYU Jerusalem Center
I am honored to participate in this historic ceremony.
Just as divine spirit impelled Orson Hyde to come to this very place 175 years ago to declare this to be the land for the gathering of the Jewish people, so has there been what appears to be a divine guidance in the initial outreach of my good friend Jim Hamula seven years ago, requesting me to organize a delegation of Jewish leaders from New York to visit leaders of the LDS Church in Salt Lake City. From that request have emerged significant events and relationship building.
Our group from New York included rabbis from the major streams of Judaism—orthodox, conservative, and reform—and representatives from the Conference of Presidents of Major Jewish Organizations, the Jewish Community Relations Council of New York, the UJA-Federation of New York, and the New York Board of Rabbis.
We toured the various facilities of the Church and discussed sensitive issues in meetings with Church leaders, including Elder Holland and Elder Cook, aimed at creating greater bonds of friendship and understanding.
Subsequent visits to New York City by elders of the Church brought them in contact with other leaders in the Jewish community, including Rabbi Meir Soloveichik, who attended the Becket Fund dinner and then was invited to speak at Brigham Young University. Rabbi Soloveichik on another occasion provided a tour of Yeshiva University for myself and other Church officials. He also hosted Elder Cook and Elder Von Keetch as they visited the oldest Jewish congregation in the United States, Shearith Israel, and proudly showed them a Torah used by his congregation during revolutionary war days.
Rabbi Joseph Potasnik, who, in addition to being the executive vice president of the New York Board of Rabbis, cohosts a weekly radio program, Religion on the Line, invited a spokesman for the Mormon Church to appear on the show to outline the wide array of activities and programs of the Church.
My wife and I had the privilege of sharing a Friday night Shabbat dinner at our home, where we shared the traditions of our 3,000-year-old faith with elders of the Church. The warmth, camaraderie, and mutual respect which flowed from the rituals performed—the prayer over the wine and bread, the washing of hands in preparation for the meal, the grace after meals, and the singing and sharing of stories during the meal—have left a permanent glow that lingers in the memory and hearts of all those who attended.
I have had the high honor of visiting three Mormon temples prior to their consecration in the Salt Lake City area, New York City, and Philadelphia.
On a visit to the Brigham Young Center on Mount Scopus with my younger daughter, she was given the surprise opportunity to play a melody on the organ, and she offered a spirited rendition of “Mary Had a Little Lamb.”
Elder James Hamula was a special guest of honor at the rededication of the sanctuary of Congregation Kehilath Jeshurun after a devastating fire caused major damage to the building.
These events enabled me to learn more about the Mormon community and to discover that there are strong areas of common ground with the Jewish community. Each has a fundamental focus on family; each places a very high value on education; each has a strong commitment to charitable giving; each demonstrates humanitarian concern and response when there are international catastrophes such as earthquakes, hurricanes, and tsunamis around the globe; each has a history of disproportionate success due to ability, hard work, and determination; and each has been subjected to fierce persecution and prejudice.
There is nothing more noble than extending the hand of friendship to fellow human beings. The world needs more understanding and respect among people, and it is encouraging to see the fostering of that core value here today.
Friendship and respect have always existed between our two communities, and it is heartening to see it being strengthened.
May we share many more opportunities of common efforts in the days ahead.

INN:
Inns are generally establishments or buildings where travelers can seek lodging and, usually, food and drink. They are typically located in the country or along a highway; before the advent of motorized transportation they also provided accommodation for horses.
Inns in Europe were possibly first established when the Romans built their system of Roman roads two millennia ago. Some inns in Europe are several centuries old. In addition to providing for the needs of travelers, inns traditionally acted as community gathering places.
Historically, inns in Europe provided not only food and lodging, but also stabling and fodder for the travelers' horses. Famous London examples of inns include the George and the Tabard. There is however no longer a formal distinction between an inn and other kinds of establishment. Many pubs use the name inn, either because they are long established and may have been formerly coaching inns, or to summon up a particular kind of image.
Inns were like bed and breakfasts, with a community dining room which was also used for town meetings or rented for wedding parties. The front, facing the road was ornamental and welcoming for travelers. The back also usually had at least one livery barn for travelers to keep their horses. There were not lobbies as in modern inns; but the innkeeper would answer the door for each visitor and judge the people whom he decided to allow to come in. Many inns were simply large estates that had extra rooms for renting.
During the 19th century the inn played a major role in the growing transportation system of England. Industry was on the rise and people were traveling more in order to keep and maintain business. The English Inn was considered an important part of English infrastructure as it helped maintain a smooth flow of travel throughout the country.[1]....
United States:
The United States of America (USA), commonly known as the United States (U.S.) or America (/əˈmɛrɪkə/), is a federal republic[16][17] composed of 50 states, a federal district, five major self-governing territories, and various possessions.[fn 6] Forty-eight states and the federal district are contiguous and located in North America between Canada and Mexico. The state of Alaska is in the northwest corner of North America, bordered by Canada to the east and across the Bering Strait from Russia to the west. The state of Hawaii is an archipelago in the mid-Pacific Ocean. The U.S. territories are scattered about the Pacific Ocean and the Caribbean Sea, stretching across nine official time zones. The extremely diverse geography, climate and wildlife of the United States make it one of the world's 17 megadiverse countries.[19]
At 3.8 million square miles (9.8 million km2)[20] and with over 324 million people, the United States is the world's third- or fourth-largest country by total area,[fn 7] and the third-most populous. The capital is Washington, D.C., and the largest city is New York City; twelve other major metropolitan areas—each with at least 4.5 million inhabitants—are Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Washington, D.C., Philadelphia, Miami, Atlanta, Boston, San Francisco, Phoenix, and Riverside.

History of the Mormons in California - Mormon Battalion 2/3
is a video describing how to learn more about the Mormon Church.
This is from the video More Precious Than Gold. The Mormon Battalion was the only religious unit in American military history serving from July 1846 to July 1847 during the Mexican-American War. They provided funds from their salaries and allowances to assist the Mormon exodus west, such as part of their clothing allowances they provided to Brigham Young to help finance the Latter-day Saint's move to the Salt Lake Valley.
The battalion was a volunteer unit of 500 soldiers, nearly all Mormon men with regular army officers in command and key staff positions along with Mormon company officers. The battalion made a grueling march from Council Bluffs, Iowa to San Diego, California. The Mormon Battalion were mostly members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints who were fleeing religious persecution in Nauvoo, Illinois. The battalion's march and service was instrumental in helping secure new lands in several Western states, especially the Gadsden Purchase of 1853 of much of southern Arizona. The march also opened a southern wagon route to California. Veterans of the battalion played significant roles in America's westward expansion in California, Utah, Arizona and other parts of the West.
President of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, Brigham Young, sent Elder Jesse C. Little to Washington, D.C. to seek assistance from the federal government for the Mormon trek west. After several interviews with President James Polk in early June 1846, the offer to enlist some 500 men after the Mormons arrived in California was accepted. Yet, orders through military channels were misread and an army officer went to the Mormon camps in Iowa to enlist men into a battalion consisting of all Mormons.
The battalion was mustered into volunteer service on July 16, 1846 by Captain James Allen of the famous 1st U.S. Dragoons. Dispatched by Colonel (later Brigadier General) Stephen Kearny, Allen met no success in recruiting until Brigham Young and other members of the Twelve gave public approval. Eventually some 500 men volunteered into this unique federal unit, which was not structured as a more typical militia or state volunteer organization. Several large families, some soldier's wives and a number of teen age boys accompanied the battalion, making it appear more as a pioneer party than a military force. The Mormon Battalion would be part of the Army of the West under General Kearny, a tough and seasoned veteran, that would have two regiments of Missouri volunteers, a regiment of New York volunteers who would travel by ships to California, artillery and infantry battalions, Kearny's own 1st US Dragoons, and the battalion of Mormons.
The Mormon Battalion arrived in San Diego, California on January 29, 1847 after a march of some 1,900 miles from Iowa. For the next five months until their discharge on July 16, 1847 in Los Angeles, the battalion trained and also performed occupation duties in several locations in southern California. The most significant service the battalion provided in California and during the war, was as a reliable unit under Cooke that General Kearny could rely on to block Fremont's mutinous bid to control California. The construction of Fort Moore was one measure Cooke employed to protect legitimate military and civil control under Kearny. Some 22 Mormon men died from disease or other natural causes during their service. About 80 of the men re-enlisted for another six months of service.
A few of the men escorted John C. Fremont back east for his court-martial.
A few discharged veterans worked in the Sacramento area for James W. Marshall at Sutter's Mill. Henry Bigler recorded the actual date, January 24, 1848, in his diary (now on display at the Huntington Library in San Marino, CA) when gold was discovered. This gold find started the California Gold Rush the next year.

They never knew my struggle
Rose above the rubble
Rather live inside their bubble
Than go through the trouble
Of having their double double vision corrected
They just neglect it and
I’ve been thinking lately
Will the Devil take me?
Or will God protect me?
I know I ain’t perfect
But you should respect me
They don’t want me happy
They don’t wanna let me live
I’m young and I’m foolish
I make bad decisions
I block out the news
Turn my back on religion
Don’t have no degree
I’m somewhat naïve
I have made it this far on my own
But lately that shit ain’t been getting me higher
I lift up my head and the world is on fire
There’s dread in my heart
And fear in my bones
I just don’t know what to say
Maybe I’ll pray
Pray
Maybe I’ll pray
I have never believed in you, no
But I’m gonna pray
I am me
I’m a man
I’m a sinner
But understand
Aren’t we all?
So when it comes to passing judgements
I don’t think that you’re the one to make the call
Heaven want to cast me out for being me
I know theres others like me there to break the fall
I know you hater Motherfuckers just can’t relate at
If I’m the first one to the line that’s fine
I’ll take it all
But Logic he gon’ let ‘em know
I ain’t perfect
But I’m worth it
I’m alive
I deserve it
I’ve been praying
I ain’t playing
I don’t think you hear the words that I’m saying
I don’t think you know the weight on my shoulders
That gets heavier as I get older
Calling anybody
Calling anybody
Can you hear me?
I pray that you hear me
I pray that you hear me
Maybe I’ll pray
Pray
Maybe I’ll pray
I’ve never believed in you, no
But I’m gonna
Won’t you call me?
Can we have a one on one please?
Let’s talk about freedom
Everyone prays in the end
Everyone prays in the end
Oh, won’t you call me?
Can we have a one on one please?
Let’s talk about freedom
Everyone prays in the end
Everyone prays in the end
Oh, I’m gonna
Pray
I’m gonna
Pray
I’m gonna
Pray
Pray for a glimmer of hope
Maybe I’ll pray
Pray
Maybe I’ll pray
I’ve never believed in you, no
But I’m gonna pray

Alan Wilson Historian - The Hidden History of Britain
Turn on captions for English subtitles.
Alan Wilson is a British historian specialising in the origins and ancient history of the British and the history of the ancient British kings including two real King Arthurs.
Arthurian research:
In 1976, after a chance meeting with historical researcher, Anthony Thomas 'Baram' Blackett, at the public library in Newcastle upon Tyne, the two men decided to put up many thousands of pounds of their own money to fund full-time research into the origins of King Arthur. The Arthurian stories, so popular today, came out of South-Eastern Wales into France, via the Normans, in the 12th century and this encouraged them to start their search in the same place. The search soon moved beyond Wales to include the English Midlands which had been dominated by the old Welsh Kingdoms for centuries.
To date, Wilson and Blackett have published seven books that provide information based upon Old Welsh records that date to the 12th Century. They believe that these provide a final solution to the King Arthur story and have clearly identified the true sites of the battles of Badon (Mynydd Baedan) and Camlann.
In 1983, Wilson and Blackett discovered what they believe to be King Arthur's memorial stone at the small ruined church of St Peter-super-Montem on Mynydd-y-Gaer in Mid-Glamorgan, which they subsequently purchased. The stone was offered to the National Museum of Wales (Amguedda Werin Cymru) for analysis, but the offer was not taken up. Subsequently it went on public display in various venues for some time. Following this, they employed the services of two archaeologists, (Professor Eric Talbot and Alan Wishart) in 1990, to lead a dig at the same place. During the excavations, which were authorised by the Royal Commission on the Ancient and Historical Monuments of Wales, several artefacts were discovered including an ancient axe, a knife and a small cross weighing two and a half pounds, that reads Pro Anima Artorius (For The Soul Of Arthur). The cross was subsequently tested by an independent metallurgical house, Bodycote PLC, and found to be made of electrum, and so certified. The cross was offered up to the National Museum of Wales for public testing, but this also was declined.Wilson and Blackett had already identified the church as an ancient historical site possibly originally dating from the first century A.D. Other major Welsh kings are buried locally.
More recently, Wilson and Blackett began a search for what was known as 'The Greatest Work of the Cymru' - Cyfrangon. This is allegedly a massive, hollow, man-made hill concealed somewhere in Wales (similar to Silbury Hill). Treasure hunters in Wales have long sought this fabled hill in which, it is believed, lie several objects of tremendous historical and archaeological value, many of which may be covered in gold or copper.
The use of deep ground probing metal detection and analysis equipment revealed non ferrous metal artefacts some fifteen feet below the surface of the hill at Twyn y Glog, near Ynysybwl in mid Glamorgan. Further investigation by collaborators proved that the original height of the hill lies some 30 or more metres below the Ordnance Survey height, and that the hill is therefore an artificial construct. (Berkly, G., 2007).
No further tests have been made to date (10 September 2007).
Lecture tours:
Alan Wilson and his colleague lectured extensively in the United Kingdom, including Manchester and Jesus College at the University of Oxford, and Alan Wilson gave the prestigious Bemis Lecture in Boston in 1993. Research into claims that the Welsh settled in mid-western America in antiquity led to Wilson and his colleague, Baram Blackett, accepting invitations from American supporters to visit US sites of historical significance in 1994. The visit led to several television appearances and the deciphering of alphabetic inscriptions claimed to be in the old 'Coelbren' alphabet. Wilson also concluded that the many snake mounds in the American Mid-west were of ancient Khumric-British construction. Whilst in America, the two men were also commissioned to produce a detailed genealogy for the Bush family (friends and supporters of President George H. W. Bush).
