Kanazawa is famous for its gardens with gold leaf. Kenrokuen is one of the three gardens in Japan. Land and lanterns symbolizing the Kenrokuen legs are inde individual lanterns 2 looks like a chock to sustain the current instrument. This fountain is Japan's first-minute chat. The fountain garden pond with a water pressure of water stream rises as the pond water. The garden seems a lot of people dressed in traditional Japanese costumes. When you walk wearing a kimono old garden it seems to be able to feel a little more old mood. The Ishibashi expressed the view that geese flying with the 11 red stone. One of the stone has a shape of a turtle shell. Kenrokuen garden is created in the Maeda family, who ruled the region from 1620 to 1840. Maeda is a descendant of the last built Zuiho Ryuji Takaoka City visit. Kenrokuen (兼 六 園) is a vastness, tranquility, artifice, gosaek bismuth, waterways, meaning it has some of the six kinds of views. Students were built on a surprisingly traditional Japanese haiku poetry tour in the United States. Watching landscaped garden visitors got inspired. For the appearance of the garden'm building (haiku). I'm building a haiku about the shape and the roots of the trees now look over there, sit still if you look at the garden cost an atmosphere that will be able to build a number of the city itself. View more photos like this, but celebrates the state deadlines leave the impression waterways. I have put the shadows in a pond.

Kenrokuen - Japanese Garden, Kanazawa ᴴᴰ ●
► Kenrokuen Garden is regarded as one of Japan's three most beautiful landscape gardens, covering an area of 11.4 hectares located on the heights of Cental Kanazawa, next to Kanazawa Castle.
There is a stone lantern designed in the image of a Japanese koto (*harp) by the pond, this has become the symbol of Kenrokuen.
The grounds has plenty of water features, bridges, teahouses, trees, flowers, stones, viewpoints and hidden paths to discover.
It's an amazing garden, and clearly a lot of attention has been put into every little detail there. I can't promise I won't upload a white winter version of this one in the future. - Enjoy!
TEAM LABS + KYOTO LANTERN FESTIVAL | Episode 4, JXM JAPAN VLOGS
EPISODE 4!!!! Hey everyone, thanks so much for watching + tuning it! It means the world when I receive a DM and you guys tell me you've binged watched our series!! Seriously!
A little more about Team Labs! It is a digital art museum located in Odaiba, Tokyo. The whole exhibition uses light and image projection to create illusions and beautiful interactive imagery. They also have a location in central Tokyo that has a special water exhibit, so I highly recommend going to that one!
The Hanatouro festival, also known as the Flower Lantern Lighting, is located in the Gion District of Kyoto. I'm not sure how often they hold this event but we were there beginning March when it started! There's no special fireworks or crazy events but it is definitely peaceful and beautiful to walk around and grab some food while enjoying the lights and the beauty of the district itself!
Thanks so much for watching everyone! One more episode before the series comes to an end! (':

Shukkei-en - Japanese Garden, Hiroshima ᴴᴰ ●
► Shukkei-en is a beautiful edo-style garden, originally founded in 1620, but being very close to ground zero of the nuclear bombing, it was completely destroyed.
In 1951 it was rebuilt with great attention to detail, to make sure every bonsai, stone and bridge would be in the exact same place as before the bombings.
The result is, Shukkei-en Garden remains one of the most beautiful and attractive gardens in south-western Japan, well worth a visit if you happen to be traveling to that part of Japan. - Enjoy.
Kenrokuen Garden, Kanazawa in 4K: Japan's Best of the Best ???? Japan As It Truly Is
Kenrokuen has been called Japan's most beautiful historical traditional garden and for good reason. Come discover why here.
Kenrokuen has a history going back to 1620 and was gradually developed into what you can now see here. It is about 11.44 hectares big and contains about 8750 trees. The most famous part of the garden is the dual-legged Kotoji Toro stone lantern next to the large Kasumi Pond. You can also see the oldest fountain in Japan which is powered naturally, the tea house, built in 1725, a rest house, several waterfalls, and the Flying Geese Bridge (Ganko-bashi). The garden was virtually wiped out by a massive fire in 1759 but was painstakingly rebuilt.
There is also a famous haiku by one of Japan's biggest poets, Matsuo Basho, who was in Kanazawa in 1659. In English:
The blazing sun
Pretending not to know the season
Autumn wind
The garden was carefully designed and built to show the 6 attributes of a perfect landscape: spaciousness, seclusion, artifice, antiquity, waterways, and panoramas.
Of the Top 3 landscape gardens in Japan, Kenrokuen is by far at the top of the list. Missing this beautiful garden in Kanazawa would be a terrible mistake. The other gardens, Korakuen in Okayama City and Kairakuen in Mito, Ibaraki are all worth your attention, but if you had to pick one, Kenrokuen wins it easily.
To compare Kenrokuen with Korakuen, please watch the Korakuen video:

The Nitobe Memorial Garden is a traditional Japanese garden located at the University of British Columbia, just outside the city limits of Vancouver, Canada. It is part of the UBC Botanical Garden and Centre for Plant Research.
One of the most authentic Japanese gardens in North America, it honours Japanese author, educator, diplomat, and politician Nitobe Inazō (1862--1933), who died in Victoria, British Columbia, and whose goal was to become a bridge across the Pacific.
The garden has been the subject of more than fifteen years' study by a UBC professor, who believes that its construction hides a number of impressive features, including references to Japanese philosophy and mythology, shadow bridges visible only at certain times of year, and positioning of a lantern that is filled with light at the exact date and time of Nitobe's death each year. The garden is behind the university's Asian Centre.
The Garden features a fully functional Japanese tea house called Ichibō-an, surrounded by an outer roji tea garden with a waiting bench and an inner garden.
The Garden also features several lanterns of different varieties, including a snow viewing lantern, and the Nitobe Lantern, featuring carvings of lotus blossoms and a dog (Nitobe's birth sign), and the inscription I.M., Inazo Nitobe, 1861--1933, Apostle of Goodwill Among Nations, Erected by his friends.

YUKITO NISHINAKA - Traditional Japanese Garden meets Contemporary Glass Art
Using glass for a Japanese garden as a new element of light.
The glass stepping stones look almost like sunlight captured in water.
You can find something special and new in the sound of falls, the scent from trees, and even the color of moss when walking in this garden along embedded glass stepping stones.

I decided to stay at the Bed & Breakfast Show the day. Being that a lot of people come to repair the second floor. The lady owner prepares dinner. Dinner dishes include the fish seem to come up. This stay in Spain, Russia & breakfast with friends and try to talk to the smartphone translator. While not exactly been talking to the world through smartphones. Town deep in the mountains at night brings back soon. The concert was held for the B & B people. Gokayama folk song representative of the Chirico said the show. The five musicians with instruments and Chirico and flute made of bamboo will play North and gender dancers appeared alternately. Chirico and is the oldest folk songs in Japan when I wrote 'around the town come after the good harvest and pray for the solution. Britain's Queen Elizabeth II used as background music in manchanjang when he visited Japan and become more famous. Instruments and carrying out male dancers appeared is called 'Sasara'. Jimyeo flexibility to produce bend encountered the sound. Dance of the male dancers are challenging than women. This show could see only the original village festivals these days are always a show for the tourists. This is the old well preserved exile yeoteuna now it has become a tradition where you can see the true face of Japan's best. When it started in Japan in the Heian period as it did before, maybe I do not know who gave what even deliver on the continent. However, a unique form of Gokayama in Japan now I'm left with this form of dance Chirico and Japanese culture and I do not know what, maybe even Chirico is brought in from Korea because of the culture passed down in many places was independently developed in Japan.

In the past, only men were able to turn off the kiln of the village. Recently, however, he was able to turn even the lack of resident women.
