Surfing is the main attraction of Kuta Beach. I just loved the big waves here. The big waves of this sandy beach are best for surfing. One of the most enjoyable things to do in Bali is go on a surf adventure with friends. The possibilities for surf destinations on the island seem nearly endless. In this video, we gather up our friends in Canggu, take a motorbike ride, then hop on a boat for a day trip to Kuta reef - a surf break in the middle of the ocean about 15 minutes from the famous Kuta Beach. It starts to rain in the middle of our surf session, and we capture some fun GoPro footage each of us enjoying the waves. After our session, we enjoy a Bintang on the beach, in true Bali fashion. Join us on our surf adventure, and comment with any questions you might have about Kuta Reef or about surfing in Bali in general.

It’s almost always bigger here than in the South.
If other spots are working, you’ll have bigger waves with less of a crowd at Balian.

although the waves are usually a lot bigger than other spots.

Dreamland beach also known as New Kuta Beach is beautiful clean beach near to uluwatu temple. We spent our last day in bali on this beach. Sand is white and like big grain in size. This beach is ideal place for surfing due to high waves but not appropriate for swimming.

Kuta Beach is one of Bali’s most famous beach resort destinations, not just for foreigners, but also for locals. With a long, broad Indian Ocean beach-front, Kuta was originally discovered by tourists as a surfing paradise. The five kilometer long sandy strech of Kuta is without a doubt one of the best beaches in Bali.

A former fishing village, Kuta is a district (kecamatan) and subdistrict/village (kelurahan) in Southern Bali, Indonesia. It was one of the first towns on Bali to see substantial tourist development. It is also one of Indonesia's major tourist destinations as a beach resort. Known for its long sandy beach, varied accommodation, restaurants and bars and renowned surfers who come from Australia, Bali is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world.
Kuta was the site of the October 12, 2002 1st Bali bombing in which 202 people were killed and October 1, 2005 2nd Bali bombing where 26 people were killed.

I was in a trip to Indonesia for 8 days.. and i was in Bali for 4 days... and this 4 days were supper awesome... i spent the rest of the 4 days in the Flores Island of Indonesia and that was even better.
One my first day in Bali, i booked a surfing class at Kuta beach, Bali from #7surfingbali through airbn.com and the instructor YOKO was very generous.
We had 2hours of training season and after that we went to the ocean and lead the waves,,,, It was an awesome experience and u must try this once in life
