Coming into winter the waves have become smaller and it makes it easier for me to surf at the back with the big kids.
i've had some really good waves and also some really good dumpers.... :-)

Collecting Pipis and Surf Beach Fishing With Alvey Reel - Sunshine Coast
Today we are on the Sunshine Coast on one of the many stretches of surf beaches between Coolum and Noosa. Its a lovely day, so hopefully the fish are hungry. For bait we will be using fresh Pipis as surf fish love them. You can buy them at the bait shop, or even better, collect them yourself. Pipis are so much fun and easy to collect - anyone can do it, even the kids.

GoPro Surfing, Currumbin, Gold Coast, 24th Nov 2012
With small being the order of the day, a high tide for just before 6am and those on-shore winds into it early, there wasn't really much motivation for any kind of early start. Aside from that, I DID buy a bicycle from Aldi's this morning, then grabbed the GoPro and went for a mid-morning grovel. Got into Currumbin just on 10am, with an hour and a half to go till the bottom of the tide, it was desperation-stakes out there with loads of movement making more of a 'washing machine surf' scenario than anything else. Did get a few nice ones, so can't complain. Hoping for an early start tomorrow, and some glassy ones as the top of the tide hits as the sun rises over the horizon..... here's hoping ;) . almost 830pm uploading today's (Saturday) to Youtube lol
