A day trip to DaChen Island/大陈岛 in January 2016! A 36 metre wave once laid the island to waste during the 1997 typhoon. The place has not been developed fully but the town council is making efforts to construct roads and beautify scenic spots.

Zhejiang (浙江; formerly romanised as Chekiang), is an eastern coastal province of China. Zhejiang is bordered by Jiangsu and Shanghai to the north, Anhui to the northwest, Jiangxi to the west, and Fujian to the south. To the east is the East China Sea, beyond which lie the Ryukyu Islands of Japan.
