Japanese Traditional Festival of Donto-sai at Takekoma Jinja Shrine.
宮城県岩沼市の竹駒神社で行われるどんと祭(松焚祭)は、宮城県内を中心に毎年1月14日に行われるお祭りで、神社の境内で正月飾りを焼き、御神火にあたることで一年の無病息災・家内安全を祈願する伝統のお祭りです。左義長やどんと焼きとは呼び方が違い、どんと祭(どんとさい)と呼び、仙台市の無形重要文化財にも指定されています。
竹駒神社のどんと祭では、厳寒時に仕込みに入る酒杜氏が醸造安全・吟醸祈願のために参拝したのが始まりとされている裸参りも行われます。

This is an appearance of the Donto festival done in the Takekoma Inari shrine in Iwanuma city(Miyagi prefecture,Japan).
I was shooting this video on January 14, 2016.
The Donto festival is the traditional event of Japan done on January 14 every year.
The combustion fire is done in the Shinto shrine, people gather, and the ornament at the New Year etc. are burnt.

In Iwanuma, Miyagi, is one of Japan's three great shrines to the fox deity of fertility and harvest Inari.
Takekoma Shrine is home to a millennium-old ritual that takes place on the first horse day in the second month of Japan's traditional lunar calendar: the Hatsuuma Festival.

平成21年5月18日、竹駒神社の田んぼで御田植祭（田植え）が行われました。
ふだん田植えをやったことのない人たちが、横1列に並んで前に進みながら、手で苗を植えていきました。
In Japan, the planting rice festival is done at Shinto shrine in May every year.
A lot of people plant rice seedlings by the hand while advancing ahead queuing up in a row in side.

平成20年2月7日は旧暦元旦、雪がちらつく中、竹駒神社はたくさんの参拝客でにぎわっていました。
正月の初詣に来る人たちとは服装や年齢層がちょっとだけ？違っていました。

To participate in naked joining of the Takekoma shrine(Iwanuma city,Miyagi prefecture,Japan) these people are changing.
They are wearing Hachimaki(the long cloth in which it rolls it in head),Sarashi(the long cloth in which it rolls it in body),Shimenawa(the straw rolled in waist) and Waraji(the shoes made from straw) to the body.
