This time we visited one of the ancient shrine Taratarini Temple in Ganjam District near by city of Brahmapur. Situated at a beautiful location near bank of Rushikulya River. This is also called Shakti Peetha or Tantra Peetha. Taratarini Shrines located 32 KM from Brahmapur and 175 KM from Bhubaneswar is one of the Major Shakti Peetha in Odisha. It is believed that the Breast(Stana) of the Sati's Corpse was fallen here during Shiva's tandav with Sati's corpse. The temple situated on the Kumari Hills which have access via Hill Roads and 999 steps. This video depicts the New Temple which is under construction by Padmashri Raghunath Mahapatra, the renowned Sculpture of Odisha. The architecture is a trend of Odisha's famous Puri Jagannath temple with the welcome gate is Mukteswar Temple style. Due to permission issue, we could not shoot the Goddess inside but has covered enough to get you excited about the feel of this place. This has also a Ropeway access but the original thrill is in reaching by the 999 steps full of adventure, spirituality and joy. Enjoy the video and hit like and subscribe if you like the work.
