This video was taken back in April 18th 2010 in Tenri City, Nara Prefecture in Japan. The Service taking part in this video is the birthday celebration of Miki Nakayama (Oyasama) foundress of Tenrikyo. Estimated 100,000 people attended the memorable event.

Tenrikyo , sometimes rendered as Tenriism, is a new religion which is neither theistic nor pantheistic, originating from the teachings of a 19th-century Japanese woman named Nakayama Miki, known to her followers as Oyasama.Followers of Tenrikyo believe that God of Origin, God in Truth, known by several names including Tsukihi, Tenri-Ō-no-Mikoto, and Oyagamisama revealed divine intent through Miki Nakayama as the Shrine of God, and to a lesser extent the roles of the Honseki Izo Iburi and other leaders.Tenrikyo's worldly aim is to teach and promote the Joyous Life, which is cultivated through acts of charity and mindfulness called hinokishin.The primary operations of Tenrikyo today include 16,833 locally managed churches in Japan, the Jiba in Tenri, Nara, the oyasato-yakata, and many other community-focused organisations.

A reading of the first chapter from Life of Oyasama, the Foundress of Tenrikyo. This is the first edition published on 26 October 1967 by Tenrikyo Church Headquarters.
Under Japanese copyright law, this edition has been under the public domain as of 2017: Copyright in anonymous and pseudonymous works and works bearing the name of a corporate body shall continue to subsist until the end of a period of fifty years following the making public of the work.
The language of this edition is a little awkward and old-fashioned, but I hope that students of Tenrikyo will find it useful nevertheless.
