THAILAND'S TRAPS | AO NANG WALKING STREET
Thai street food is some of the best in the world, and in Ao Nang is no exception. Beach Road Ao Nang Krabi has a wonderful selection of street vendors all in one section of road between the two beaches. from Pancakes to coconut ice cream. Tonight I took a walk through Krabi Ao Nang, to take a look at some of the best ao nang street food and see how it stacks up to the rest of Thailand street food.

Best restaurant & accommodation in Krabi, Thailand - The Frog and Catfish. 15 minutes from Ao Nang
The best restaurant & accommodation I have found in the Ao Nang and Krabi Thailand area (15 minutes from Ao Nang, Krabi Town and Klong Muang), actually it's the best restaurant I have ever found, anywhere. Their reviews on TripAdvisor tell a similar story.
The food is absolutely delicious, some say it's the best restaurant in Krabi, and I would agree with them. The prices are great, the staff are awesome and the restaurant has to be seen to be believed. The gardens are amazing and you can even swim there. It is a true slice of Paradise!
And it's a great wedding or honeymoon venue.
There are plenty of choices on the menu - authentic Thai food and Western foods are both available. The chef, Bua, is so passionate about her work, everything I have tried from the menu is absolutely superb! All of their staff go above and beyond to ensure their customers have an amazing experience.
They do luxury accommodation cheap as well, the best I have found in Krabi. They can organise tours as well - kayaking, elephant treks, Island hopping and Thai cooking classes are all available. But the place has everything you could want and is so relaxing and beautiful that you may not want to leave. It's about 15 minutes out of Ao Nang in Din Daeng Noi (not far from Ban Nong Thale/Ban Khao Klom), but it is so worth the trip.
Their website is frogandcatfishkrabi.com
If you are looking for an amazing experience with a personal touch go and see Bua and Gary at the Frog and Catfish ... tell them Darren from Australia sent you! Visiting The Frog and Catfish Restaurant is definitely one of the best things to do in Krabi Thailand!

If you're looking for a Thailand Hotel have a look at hotels and resorts in Krabi. The islands and beaches of Krabi are famous for Thailand holidays, the movie The Beach was filmed on a Krabi's Koh Phi Phi Island.
Krabi is about 2-3 hours from Phuket by land or sea, and has world class accommodation standards comparable to what you find in Phuket hotels and resorts, but in a more relaxed environment. Be sure to check out TripAdvisor reviews for some comparisons.
Ao Nang Hotels: The Swiss Chalet. Ao Nang, Krabi, Thailand
Great place and cheap accommodation in Ao Nang, Krabi, Thailand. The Swiss Chalet! Close to everything you could want - shopping, beaches, restaurants and tours of the local areas. They also have awesome food in their restaurant, offering great Thai and Western food, with specialty Swiss dishes. The staff are very friendly and the rooms are very clean and at great prices. If you're looking for a nice place to stay I highly recommend it.

Thailand is a Southeast Asian country. It's known for tropical beaches, opulent royal palaces, ancient ruins and ornate temples displaying figures of Buddha. In Bangkok, the capital, an ultramodern cityscape rises next to quiet canalside communities and the iconic temples of Wat Arun, Wat Pho and the Emerald Buddha Temple (Wat Phra Kaew). Nearby beach resorts include bustling Pattaya and fashionable Hua Hin

Tap water is usually not drinkable in Thailand outside of Bangkok. In many places in Bangkok however, particularly in new buildings, drinking tap water is perfectly safe. However, if you don't want to chance it, buying a bottle of water is the obvious solution. Bottled water (น้ำเปล่า naam plao) is cheap and ubiquitous at 5-20 baht a bottle depending on its size and brand, and drinking water served in restaurants is always at least boiled (น้ำต้ม naam tom). Ice (น้ำแข็ง naam khaeng) in Thailand usually comes packaged straight from the factory and is safe; there is only reason to worry if you are served hand-cut ice. You can buy a large package of ice in most 7-11s for 7 baht, too.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS - Ao Nang, Krabi | Beach, Pier, Hotels | Thailand Travel Vlog
Our first travel vlog from Ao Nang, Krabi, and we see what it's like! Share our hotel, check out the beach & pier and...⬇ More Below ✈ Our 220 page guide on how to travel for a living —
In this vlog we explore Ao Nang. Theres not a huge variety or hotels in the area in the middle range, lots of hostels and fancy villas, but we're stoked to have found a good spot (linked below). We also explore the main beach, Noppharat Thara Beach and check out the pier for our visit to Railay.
Ao Nang is a pretty popular spot in Thailand, but we get the feeling it's a bit more of a jump of spot to do more island hoping around Krabi. There's still a decent amount going on, so we decided to get a scooter and explore the area.
The main beach of Ao Nang isn't high on our list of the nicest beaches ever, but the spot right next to it, Noppharat Thara Beach, was awesome. Thats what we look for when we travel, more local, authentic and less developed.
Keen to see the prices and reviews of our hotel? We really liked this place, great accommodation:

Delicious Thai street food! The food markets in Thailand are a great place to get an insight into Thai culture while you travel in Thailand, they're great places to visit. They're not like your Asian Supermarket or Oriental grocery store back home! And they're a great place to try traditional Thai foods, authentic Thai cuisine, learn Thai recipes and cooking, as well as eat some of the best Thai foods in Thailand. And best of all, the shopping is fun and the food is cheap! Eating at markets is a good way to save money on your Thailand holidays or while you tour Thailand.

There are different Thai food markets every day of the week in Ao Nang Krabi Thailand. This market is open afternoons from 3:30 til 6:30PM, it is easy to find on the maps that are available in Ao Nang and I have marked the location on this video. I love the markets, I think seeing them is one of the best things to do in Krabi Thailand.
