1. The Victoria Theatre and Concert Hall is a performing arts center in the Central Area of Singapore, situated along Empress Place. It is a complex of two buildings and a clock tower joined together by a common corridor; the oldest part of the building was first built in 1862, and the complex was completed in 1909.
2. The Arts House is a building in Singapore. It is currently a multi-disciplinary arts venue which plays host to art exhibitions and concerts. Built in 1827, the Old Parliament House is the oldest government building and perhaps the oldest surviving building in Singapore.
3. The National Gallery Singapore is an art gallery located in the Downtown Core of Singapore. Opened on 24 November 2015, it oversees the world’s largest public collection of Singaporean and Southeast Asian art, consisting of over 8,000 artworks.

Occupying the almost 200-year-old building that was Singapore’s first Parliament House, The Arts House has been offering its audiences a broad range of arts and culture programmes since its opening in 2004. It also plays an active role in the Singapore creative scene. Since 2011, The Arts House has been focusing on the development and promotion of literary arts, while continuing to present and support programmes and festivals that aim to give our audiences a wide and multidisciplinary experience.
Once a space where Singapore’s most important decisions were made, the former Parliamentary Chamber is the highlight of The Arts House, and is now a popular venue for musical performances, stage productions and conferences. Other venue options include a black box theatre, galleries, multi-purpose rooms, and a screening room, featuring a digital cinema projector and 7.1 Dolby surround sound.

AHA 2004 Winner: The Arts House (Old Parliament House)
Gazetted as a National Monument in 1992, the Old Parliament House is a historical landmark of rich heritage and was the seat of Government since the colonial days. This building of typical 19th century British colonial architecture has been restored to its late 1950s layout, its most significant period when it functioned as the Legislative Assembly and the Parliament House of Singapore, and its spaces thoughtfully adapted for its new use as a contemporary multi-disciplinary arts and heritage centre. This short film is produced by Heng Hui Mei, Elysa Leong, Andrea Yong, Vanessa Ho and Juliana Tam from NTU Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information.

Mona Lisa Exhibition at The Arts House (Singapore)
The Earlier Mona Lisa has spent the past four decades in a Swiss bank vault, from where it has from time to time been released to undergo expert examinations and scientific tests which have revealed that it is indeed a painting by Leonardo Da Vinci, executed around 10 years before the Louvre work.
The Earlier Mona Lisa came out of the shadows and into the spotlight during an international press conference in Geneva, Switzerland in September of 2012, sparking enormous worldwide interest.
The exhibition is happening at The Arts House from 16th December 2014 to 11th February 2015.

Journey with Singapore soprano Victoria Songwei Li, through the various stages of love based on European legends – from innocent young love in Verdi’s Caro Nome to a young girl's discovery of the excitement of love, to the proclamation of the joys of youth and love in Gounod’s Je veux vivre .
Li is a recent graduate of the Royal Academy of Music in London and recipient of Hamish Dyer Young Musicians' Scholarship.

BODY X - Singapore Writers Festival Fringe Theatre @ The Arts House
Conceived by a creative team of non-linear thinking theatre practitioners, BODY X allows you to exercise your mind and your feet, as the story unfolds in different rooms within the building. Attendees will be able to relive the moments and review all happenings. You have to choose and decide which character or storyline to follow, conjure your own ideas, piece the puzzle together.
Inspired by the books and style of Japanese author Keigo Higashino, you are invited to join in an experiential-interactive site-specific murder-mystery production at The Arts House this November, during Singapore Writers Festival. It is more than watching. It is participating, solving the crime and finding the murderer, all by yourself.
Spaces within The Arts House will be opened up, some for the first time to general public. See the rooms and corridors transformed with the darkened night. Suspense will linger in the air as audience members explore the darkened environment and observe all the suspects in action.
