Finding The Perfect Riverside Chinese Town: Fenghuang Is A DREAM! (China vlog 2019 凤凰 湖南)
Tucked away deep inside China's Hunan province, is the picture-perfect riverside town of Fenghuang. Fenghuang town, sometimes called the phoenix town, isn't on most westerners' China itineraries - but it should be! From narrow cobblestoned alleys to rickety stilt houses perched right on the river, you'll repeatedly have to pinch yourself to see if you're not dreaming. And the best part? If you're lucky, you can have Fenghuang Hunan mostly to yourself - give or take a few Chinese ;)
We highly recommend visiting Fenghuang old town (also called Fenghuang gucheng), if you're planning a China trip! We promise you won't be disappointed :)
We hope you enjoyed this China vlog & the fun-loving town of Fenghuang China - there are many more videos to come as we travel China for the next few weeks! Chinese President and British Prime Minister visit a pub for drinks - no comment
After three days meetings, British Prime Minister David Cameron and Chinese President Xi Jinping relaxed on Thursday (October 22) over a traditional pub dinner of fish and chips.
Cameron took a break from the formalities of hosting the state visit to take Communist Party General Secretary Xi to The Plough at Cadsden, near his official country residence at Chequers, for a fish and chip supper washed down with a pint of Green King India Pale Ale.
I dropped into The Plough at Cadsden for a pint …

Shanghai is home to 25 million Chinese, making it a massive metropolis and one of the largest cities in the world. The Most Beautiful Place in China: Avatar Mountains Of Zhangjiajie (China Vlog 2019 张家界)
China's Zhangjiajie national park is home to perhaps the most unique landscape you'll ever see. The Zhangjiajie national forest park holds over 3,000 quartzite rock towers that form an incredible forest in the sky, complete with foggy peaks and lush greenery. These pinnacles, some of which are over 1 kilometer (!) high, were the inspiration for the floating mountains in the Avatar movie. Let's go get some vertigo, shall we? ;)
We cannot recommend visiting the Avatar mountains China highly enough if you are (thinking of) planning in the region! 张家界

Mongolian Food Tour: Trying LAMB HEAD In Ulan Bator (Trans Siberian Railway Adventure)
Time for some Mongolian bizarre foods... What's the weirdest we've eaten in our 7 months of travel? Eating twice cooked lamb head (yes, with everything still inside, including the eyes) and drinking fermented horse milk really tops that list... But it's a part of nomadic culture and so we had to try some real nomad food!
If you want to travel Mongolia or do a Mongolia tour, make sure to subscribe for more videos coming your way very, very soon. Exploring the capital of Ulan Bator, Mongolia hiking to remote areas where we'll be staying with nomads, horse trekking – you name it, we’ll be going there! NEXT UP: sightseeing in Ulaanbaatar's monasteries and palaces!
And not to worry, we’ll also be making our way back onto the Trans Siberian Railway (Trans Mongolian route) after we’re finished in Mongolia ;-) if you want to check out our videos of the Transsiberian, we've grouped them right here:

Xi'an Night Dancing
In front of the Jianguo hotel, there is an amalgam of intersections and underpasses. The Chinese, especially the old, love to exercise in public as a group at the beginning and at the end of the day. This is not just limited to tai'ji. In the morning, the underpass in front of our hotel was dominated by martial arts; In the evenings by line dancing and couples dancing. Note the Blade Runner style urban lighting, the sheer number of participants, and the second nature familiarity that has come with daily repetition.
