NZ WINTER ROAD TRIP: WANAKA - CARDRONA - ARROWTOWN
Our third day down south takes us to beautiful Wanaka, a quick stop-off at the old Cardrona pub, over the Crown Range Pass and to the historic gold mining town of Arrowtown.
A couple of middle-aged Kiwis travelling the world by plane, train and motorhome. The kids left home and so did we! We’re not professionals, we’re not experts, we just like to record what we see and do. Enjoy!

Wanaka, Cardrona Ski Resort, NEW ZEALAND - The perfect Snow
Located at the heart of the Southern Lakes of New Zealand, Wanaka is nestled below towering mountains and is considered by many like a smaller version of Queenstown. A roadside stop near Cardrona on the Cardrona Valley Road which links the towns of Queenstown and Wanaka, New Zealand. It’s at the entrance to the Cardrona Distillery, a lot of free spirits have passed by, donations for breast cancer are accepted.
