The Secret Of The Orlov Paleontological Museum, Moscow
The Orlov Paleontological Museum occupies five main halls. Connected by crossings, they form a closed sequence, which begins and ends by a tower with a ceramic panel Tree of Life.
The introductory hall is followed by the hall of Precambrian, Early Paleozoic, Late Paleozoic, Mesozoic and Cenozoic. A central position in this hall is occupied by complete skeleton of mammoth
The Precambrian is the stage of the Earth geologic history from our planet. The Precambrian is from 4,5 billion years ago and the Cambrian period from 5,4 million years ago.
Our favorite place in this museum is The Hall 5 of Mesozoic. This Hall represents the organic world at Era of Dinosaurs. A large group of dinosaur skeletons is installed on the podium of the lower level.
The hall 6 of Cenozoic era began 65 million years ago and continues in our time. The Cenozoic is also called the Era of Mammals. About 10000 years ago, in the result of another global warming, modern mammal fauna appeared. From here early humans began to live.
Meteor cover mysteriously levitates by itself in Russian museum
The dome covering the meteorite in South Ural State Historical Museum spontaneously begins to levitate before freezing at a height of about 10 cm. We do not believe in mysticism. However the twin brother of the Chelyabinsk meteorite flew near the Earth recently… Coincidence?

Chris Riggs artist exhibition at science Museum of Winged Rockets in Dubna, Moscow state, Russia.
So happy to have my painting and sculpture in the permanent collection at the Science Museum of Winged Rockets in Dubna, Moscow region, Russia. The main philosophy of my art is to use rockets to travel the universe together as humans instead of using rockets to destroy planet Earth, our only home. The director of the museum has the same philosophy and has decided to put my love and peace painting in Russian and English on permanent display. Thank you to my wife for being the main inspiration of my art. Thank you to the science town of Dubna for taking me in and showing me nothing but love. Thank you Russian press for covering the event. We will make peace on Earth.

It is located within the base of the Monument to the Conquerors of Space in the north-east of the city. The museum contains a wide variety of Soviet and Russian space-related exhibits and models which explore the history of flight; astronomy; space exploration; space technology; and space in the arts. The museum primarily focuses on the Soviet space program with major themes like Gagarin, Sergey Korolyov, Sputnik and Soyuz.
REAL LIFE DRAMA Putin Watches New Russia’s Space Blockbuster Salyut 7
FROM RUSSIAN INSIDER, OCTOBER 7, 2017
-Russian President Vladimir Putin Watches New Russian Blockbuster Salyut-7, A Space Drama Based On True Story
Credit to Vesti News
Russia’s space blockbuster Salyut-7 is a fascinating look at cinematic heroism
In its opening moments, the Russian space thriller Salyut-7 feels like an alternate-universe version of Alfonso Cuarón’s Gravity. Two cosmonauts on a spacewalk in 1983 joke with a compatriot inside the Salyut 7 space station, theorizing about when the USSR government will want to experiment with sex in space, and how much time they’ll need to (or get to) spend in Earthside training simulators for the project. Then a minor welding accident punctures one cosmonaut’s glove. As her suit pressure rapidly drops, hypoxia threatens, and she becomes less and less cogent, her partner gently talks her through the rescue process. The music, the editing, and the taut, escalating drama of the scene all belie his perfect calm as he persuades her toward safety. Meanwhile, Earth abides below, beautiful but threatening, and dizzyingly far away.
This breathless, intense sequence is just the opening salvo in a high-tech thriller that’s familiar in many respects to American space blockbusters, from fiction like Gravity to historical dramas like Apollo 13 and The Right Stuff. Salyut-7 is also based on real history: it tracks the USSR’s dramatic 1985 mission to reboot and rescue the crippled Salyut 7 space station, after an accident left it unpowered and unresponsive to ground control. The station was empty at the time, which left ground crews with no way of determining how badly it had malfunctioned, or whether it could be repaired. The entire mission relied on a great deal of on-the-fly decision-making as the situation unfolded. And as it plays out in Salyut-7 — amid familiar space movie threats of dwindling supplies, malfunctioning equipment, unforeseen crises, and an uncompromisingly hostile environment — it says some fascinating things about how blockbuster moviemaking works, and how universal certain kinds of heroism are

Old Russia Fairytale Disneyland! Come And Visit Moscow's Lesser Known Kremlin - Izmailovo Kremlin
Moscow's other, lesser known kremlin is a fairytale-like cultural complex modeled after Old Russia.
As the symbol of the Russian state, the Kremlin in Moscow’s Red Square is famed and celebrated. But there is a second, less known Kremlin in the northeast part of the city. Located near the Serebryano-Vinogradny Pond, the Kremlin in the city’s Izmailovo District is an unexpected, fairytale-like cultural wonderland.
The Kremlin in Izmaylovo is a unique center of culture and entertainment, based at the famous Izmaylovo Vernissage. It is built in a pseudo-Byzantine style, based loosely on what palaces in Russia looked like in pre-Petrine times, but more inspired by drawings of Russian fairy tales. This complex is used for civil weddings as it has a wedding palace, a restaurant and bars. However, it is also used as an amusement park/open-air museum for children on the theme of 'Old Russia'. There is a reconstruction of a wooden Russian church that used to dot the Russian countryside before the Russian Revolution but it is not used for weddings. There is also a big market that sells souvenirs amongst other things.
