In this weeks Edinburgh Vlog we are joined by fellow Edinburgh youtuber Shaun from Shaun Vlogs, where we start to explore some of Edinburgh's pubs that specialise in Whisky (Or scotch if you are from America). We visit 4 of central Edinburgh's whisky bars. We find the most expensive whisky to buy, and a bar that has almost 400 different whisky's in stock.

The World's End Pub in Edinburgh - Belhaven The World's End Cask Ale & Black Scottish Stout
The World's End pub, right on the Royal Mile in Edinburgh, Scotland! This pub has a great selection of Belhaven brews and cheap (at least by UK standards) scotch whiskies! In this video we check out The World's End Cask Ale, which is brewed by Belhaven and likely a beer they brew commercially, as well as the Black Scottish Stout, also on cask. Enjoy the video!

The Caledonian Brewery has been at the heart of Edinburgh life for over 145 years. We brew our beers with passion and pride, in a traditional Victorian brewery, set in the heart of Edinburgh. We’re delighted to have signed an agreement with Historic Scotland to use the world-famous landmark and the name ‘Edinburgh Castle’ which reflects the pride we have in our Edinburgh roots.
Since the 1880s beer brewed in Scotland had been categorised by the shilling wholesale price per hogshead, a barrel of 54 gallons. 80/- shilling beers were beers of the highest quality brewed for the markets of North East England and export. 80/- shilling or Export is comparable to the category of Best Bitters in England. The shilling system is recognised as one of Scotland's contributions to the overall history of brewing. 40/- ale was a very light beer often supplied to farmhands. 50/- and 60/- beers were also reasonably light and mild. 70/-, 80/- and 90/- were progressively stronger, export-quality beers. The shilling system continued to be used to indicate the beers’ quality and was legally recognised in 1914.
THREE HOP LAGER
ABV 4.5%
A rich, solid gold beer, with spicy herbal aromas and flavours; crisp and refreshing with a lingering lemon finish. Our Three Hop Lager has been brewed in Edinburgh using our own unique recipe. The result is a lager that combines three of Europe’s finest hops to deliver a crisp and characterful beer.
And the hops in question? They represent three of the great brewing regions of Europe.
From Bavaria, the Hallertau Hersbrucker hop brings a pleasant, floral, stylishly fruity flavour.
The earthy, spicy – even peppery – character of the Saaz hop, from the Czech Republic, has long been at the heart of the beers of Bohemia.
And representing the Alsace region of France is the Strisselspalt, from the fields around Strasbourg, providing a happy bouquet with a suggestion of honey and mint.
We have blended this holy trinity of magnificent hops with locally-produced Maritime malt – just the malt: no wheat, maize, rice or oats.
We are proud to present Edinburgh Three Hop Lager, a delicious, distinctive beer that is as memorable, and refined, as the city it hails from.

Tips:
* I would suggest you guys to take a train to Edinburgh from London as the journey is very scenic.
* Walking tour is the best way to explore this magical city and learn about the history of Edinburgh.
* As we all know Scottish pubs are very famous for its ambiance and Whiskey, I would suggest you to do a Pub Crawl Tour.
* Don’t forget to catch the sunset from the Calton Hill and sunrise from Arthur’s Seat.
