SIGNATURE SUITE TOUR - FAIRMONT CLAREMONT HOTEL & SPA in BERKELEY
I had a wonderful stay at the Claremont Club & Spa, a Fairmont Hotel ( The large resort is in the hills of Berkeley offering beautiful views (when it's not foggy) of the San Francisco skyline across the bay. It's easy to get to, only about 30 minutes from downtown San Francisco (without traffic!). Here's a look at one of the luxury hotel's signature suites, located in the tower. This gives the living room three walls of windows with incredible views.
The Claremont was stop number two in a luxury roadtrip I did in the 2018 Lexus GX 460 Luxury ( SUV. It was perfect for the long drive up from Los Angeles and great on the hills driving up to the Claremont.

Nestled high in the hills above Berkeley, overlooking San Francisco and its beautiful Bay, the Claremont Club & Spa, A Fairmont Hotel ( has been a luxurious getaway spot for San Franciscans since opening in 1915.
Here's a tour of my beautiful Bayview Junior Suite with sweeping views of the 32 acre luxury resort and of San Francisco Bay.
To get to the Claremont in style, I drove the 2018 Lexus GX 460 Luxury SUV ( up from Los Angeles.
