The Forest Centre - Forest of Marston Vale - Marston Moretaine
The video shows a circular walk at the Forest of Marston Vale from the Forest Centre at Marston Moretaine, Bedfordshire, England. The Forest Centre is the public face of The Millennium Country Park - part of the Marston Vale Forest..
The Forest of Marston Vale was formerly the Stewartby Brick Works and a number of land fill sites combined, but in the 1990s the government gave this 61 square mile area over to The Marston Vale Trust to be managed as a forest. Planting is still very much a work in progress.
The park is a thriving wildlife area, many of which can be glimpsed if you are in the park early enough.

DJI Phantom 3 - Marston Moretaine Practice
Flying the DJI Phantom 3 near home for a bit of practice. Tried to follow a car (The driver was aware) which went OK... Again, this was filmed at 1080 rather than 4k as I didn't want to spend too long editing and rendering out the footage..
I think my next flight will be recorded in 4k so I can see what this thing can really do..

Haunted Graveyards : The Entombed Cavaliers of Marston Mortaine Church
A site survey of the Haunted Graveyard. St Mary the Virgin Church is a 15th Century Church located in the village of Marston Moretaine, Bedfordshire, England, United Kingdom. It replaced an earlier church on site which had stood for about 1000 years. St Mary the Virgin Church has a Haunting - of a brutal and violent nature.
During the English Civil War a group of Cavaliers, who were being pursued by a larger group of Roundheads, took shelter beneath the church within an underground tunnel which connected the church with the rectory. The Cavaliers were a small group and had a drummer boy with them. When the Roundheads finally caught up with the Cavaliers, rather than try and rush the group of Royalists, who were armed with muskets and swords - the Roundheads decided upon another course of action. Rather than risk taking casualities, the Roundheads simply sealed up the tunnel's entrances at both ends, entombing the Cavaliers. They then simply sat back and waited for the Cavaliers to slowly starve to death. Which they did. It is not known for certain whether the bones of the Cavaliers still lie beneath the church, more likely after a few weeks the Roundheads opened up the tunnel and took the bodies out. However this horrific act of violence caused the Haunting which still exists to this day.
Upon stormy nights, over the course of the last 4 centuries, many people have claimed to have heard the sound of a drummer boy banging his drum beneath the church. This Ghostly drummer boy and the other Cavaliers are still said to Haunt beneath the church.
Those poor souls are now trapped for all eternity within their underground prison - their Ghosts, emaciated and guant, due to their death by starvation - stand like silent sentinels. With their Ghostly drummer boy providing a constant beat.
