US Girls Live Report

US Girls n'en est en fait qu'une, Megan Remy. Sa voix légèrement cassée qui trace des obsessions, détaille des névroses sur des ballades évasives & saccagées.

En partant uniquement du nom de scène, on devine qu'US Girls met en musique l'anti-Rêve Américain, le côté malsain des pom-pom girls et de la pop, de la culture de la victoire et des sourires trop blancs.
En approfondissant, on comprend que c'est le cas, mais que l'entreprise est beaucoup plus personnelle, beaucoup plus solitaire.

Toujours entourée de micros à peine fonctionnels, de boîtes à rythme chaotiques, de bribes de phrases dédoublées dessinant des canons. Toujours incandescente, de fièvre ou de découragement.

Royal Scots Dragoon Guards - Highland Cathedral

The melody for the great highland bagpipe, was composed perhaps surprisingly by German musicians Ulrich Roever and Michael Korb in 1982 for a Highland games held in Germany.
The tune as seen here performed by the Royal Scots Dragoon Guards featured in the album Spirit of the Glen, which won a Classical Brit award in 2009.
