My family and I did the 11 ziplines, skybridge and repelling at The Gorge -
This is a compilation of 10 of the zip lines (I forgot to turn my camera on for one).. It was overcast and cool, perfect weather and great views!
It's a top notch facility, great guides and the fastest, longest ziplines I have ever been on. Takes about 3 1/2 hours total to complete the course down the mountain, then they drive you back up. Great thing to do in the Brevard / Asheville area of the North Carolina mountains!

The Gorge Zipline
The Gorge boasts the fastest and steepest zipline canopy tour in the country. The automatic braking tour consists of 11 ziplines, covering 1.25 miles and descending 1,100 vertical feet into the old growth forest surrounding the Green River Game Lands. Zippers can expect to “fly” at an average of 35 miles per hour. And the view from the tree-top platforms is worth the nervous exhilaration. Read more about this North Carolina mountain adventure at

The Gorge Zip Lining 2019
Zip Lining the Gorge in Saluda, NC for spring break 2019. SO FUN!!!
The Gorge - Zipline Tour - July 2013
The Gorge - Zipline Tour - July 2013, Chris and Jay were our guides and they killed it! Believe me, the video doesn't do it justice, but it's a great start. Zipping at 35+ mph on the first line is quite a wake up call! Then they just get longer, the view get better and the forest wakes you up. I have a good amount of experience climbing and repelling, but have never zipped, it was a great adrenaline experience and way more than expected. Thanks to The Gorge!

The Making of the Gorge Zipline Canopy Tour - Part 1
Here at The Gorge we are hard at work hanging the cables for the canopy tour. Getting these cables in place without cutting a path through the forest requires equal parts cunning and hard work. Enjoy this short video and be sure to check us out at:
