Las Vegas Shooting - Snipers Confirmed in LVMPD Helicopter - Route 91 Festival Attack
This video confirms that LVMPD had 2 snipers in the air after Las Vegas Shooting. Warning!!! Some viewers might find this video too intense and viewer discretion is advised.
The 2017 Las Vegas shooting occurred October 1st, a Sunday night, when a crowd of over 20,000 concertgoers came under fire while attending the 2017 Route 91 Country Music Harvest Festival on the Las Vegas Strip in Nevada. 58 people were left dead and 851 injured. Jason Aldean was on stage and was just about finished with his performance of his hit single, Any Ol Barstool at approximately 10:05PM PDT when the first shots of the this tragic event rang out. Once Mr. Aldean started his performance of his song, When She Says Baby, the shooter continued the assault with what sounded like automatic gunfire and lasted until approximately 10:15PM PDT. During this tragic massacre, the shooter fired an estimated 1,100 rounds from several different AR-15-style assault rifles upon the unsuspecting crowd. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department has identified the shooter as 64-year-old Stephen Paddock of Mesquite, Nevada who police say was firing from rooms 32134 and 32135 on the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Hotel & Casino. Las Vegas Police have confirmed that approximately one hour after the last shots of the attack were heard, the Las Vegas Police Department made entry into room 32135 and the gunman was found dead on the floor of his suite from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. No other injuries were reported from the 32 floor of the hotel although the Las Vegas Police Department would later confirm that there was an accidental discharge from a member of the Police team that made entry into the rooms. The shooter’s motives remain unclear at this point in time.
The Las Vegas Shooting marks the deadliest mass shooting event committed in modern United States history. This event has heated up the debate over gun control in the United States and has brought much attention on a device called a “bump stock” which the shooter had installed on his rifles to allow his semi-automatic weapon to perform much like that of a military-grade, fully-automatic weapon.
The casualty statistics from this event are as follows: 36 women & 22 men were killed; 67 was the oldest aged victim and 20 years old was the youngest aged victim; 6 were from Nevada, 35 were from California, 13 from other states and 4 were from Canada; Of the 851 victims injured, 422 were from gunshots; This event bested the previous deadliest mass shooting by 9 victims. In 2016, Orlando’s Pulse nightclub was attacked where 49 victims were shot and killed.

Las Vegas attack
LAS VEGAS (AP) -- The rapid-fire popping sounded like firecrackers at first, and many in the crowd of 22,000 country music fans didn't understand what was happening when the band stopped playing and singer Jason Aldean bolted off the stage.
That's gunshots, a man could be heard saying emphatically on a cellphone video in the nearly half-minute of silence and confusion that followed. A woman pleaded with others: Get down! Get down! Stay down!
Then the pop-pop-pop noise resumed. And pure terror set in.
People start screaming and yelling and we start running, said Andrew Akiyoshi, who provided the cellphone video to The Associated Press. You could feel the panic. You could feel like the bullets were flying above us. Everybody's ducking down, running low to the ground.
While some concertgoers hit the ground, others pushed for the crowded exits, shoving through narrow gates and climbing over fences as 40- to 50-round bursts of automatic weapons fire rained down on them from the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay casino hotel.
By Monday afternoon, 59 victims were dead and 527 injured in the deadliest mass shooting in modern U.S. history.
You just didn't know what to do, Akiyoshi said. Your heart is racing and you're thinking, `I'm going to die.'
The gunman, identified as Stephen Craig Paddock, a 64-year-old retired accountant from Mesquite, Nevada, killed himself before officers stormed Room 135 in the gold-colored glass skyscraper.
The avid gambler who according to his brother made a small fortune investing in real estate had been staying there since Thursday and had busted out windows to create his sniper's perch roughly 500 yards from the concert grounds.
The motive for the attack remained a mystery, with Sheriff Joseph Lombardo saying: I can't get into the mind of a psychopath at this point.
Paddock had 16 rifles -- some of them with scopes -- and a handgun in his hotel room, Lombardo said. Two were modified to make them fully automatic, according to two U.S. officials briefed by law enforcement who spoke on condition of anonymity because the investigation is still unfolding.
At Paddock's home, authorities found 18 more guns, explosives and thousands of rounds of ammunition. Also, several pounds of ammonium nitrate, a fertilizer that can be turned into explosives such as those used in the 1995 Oklahoma bombing, were in his car, the sheriff said.
The FBI said it found nothing so far to suggest the attack was connected to international terrorism, despite a claim of responsibility from the Islamic State group, which said Paddock was a soldier who had recently converted to Islam.
In an address to the country, President Donald Trump called the bloodbath an act of pure evil and added: In moments of tragedy and horror, America comes together as one. And it always has. He ordered flags flown at half-staff.
With hospitals jammed with victims, authorities put out a call for blood donations and set up a hotline to report missing people and speed the identification of the dead and wounded. They also opened a family reunification center for people to find loved ones.
More than 12 hours after the massacre, bodies covered in white sheets were still being removed from the festival grounds.
The shooting began at 10:07 p.m., and the gunman appeared to fire unhindered for more than 10 minutes, according to radio traffic. Police frantically tried to locate him and determine whether the gunfire was coming from Mandalay Bay or the neighboring Luxor hotel.
At 10:14 p.m., an officer said on his radio that he was pinned down against a wall on Las Vegas Boulevard with 40 to 50 people.

LAS VEGAS SHOOTING HORRIFYING FOOTAGE CAUGHT ON CAMERA YouTube
At least 58 people have been killed and hundreds injured in a mass shooting at a Las Vegas concert.
A gunman, named as 64-year-old Nevada resident Stephen Paddock, opened fire from the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Hotel towards an open-air music festival attended by 22,000.
He killed himself as police stormed the room where 10 guns were found.
Investigators have found no link to international terrorism, despite a claim from so-called Islamic State.
In an address from the White House, President Donald Trump described the attack as pure evil.
He praised the efforts of the emergency services, saying their miraculous speed saved lives, and announced he would be visiting Las Vegas on Wednesday.
How did the attack unfold?
Media captionA police scanner captures the moment police burst into gunman's room
The final shows of the three-day Route 91 country music festival were in full swing when the gunman struck.
Thousands were enjoying a performance by top-billing singer Jason Aldean when the first of several bursts of automatic gunfire rang out - hundreds of shots, witnesses say. That was late on Monday night - 22:08 local time (05:08 GMT on Monday).
Hundreds of concert-goers scrambled for cover, flattening themselves against the ground, rushing for the exits or helping others to escape as Paddock sprayed the site from his high vantage point.

Hundreds of concert-goers fled the scene or ducked for cover amid heavy gunfire
One man had blood all over him and that's when I knew something was seriously wrong, Mike Thompson from London, told the BBC.
People were running and there was chaos.
Concert-goer Mike McGarry, who survived, told Reuters he lay on top of his children when the shots rang out.
They're 20, I'm 53. I lived a good life, he said.
Many hotels on the Las Vegas strip close to the scene were placed on police lockdown and parts of Las Vegas Boulevard were shut.
Aldean, who was rushed off-stage, shared his reaction on Instagram.
Tonight has been beyond horrific, he wrote.
Las Vegas police say the number of people injured stands at 515.

What do we know of the gunman?

Suspected gunman Stephen Paddock - undated image
Stephen Paddock, from a community of senior citizens in the small town of Mesquite north-east of Las Vegas, booked into the hotel on 28 September, police say.
His motives for carrying out the deadliest mass shooting in recent US history remain a mystery. Some investigators have suggested psychological issues, but there is no confirmation of this.
His brother, Eric, is dumbfounded that he acted this way.
Media captionEric Paddock says he is in total shock after police named his brother, Stephen, as the shooter
Las Vegas Sheriff Joe Lombardo described the shooting as a lone wolf attack.
We have no idea what his belief system was, he said.
So-called Islamic State (IS) has claimed to be behind the attack, saying that Paddock had converted to Islam some months ago.
But the group provided no evidence for this and has made unsubstantiated claims in the past.
FBI Special Agent Aaron Rouse told a news conference: We have determined at this point no connection to an international terrorist organisation.
IS's claim of responsibility for the Las Vegas attack is very unusual in that the perpetrator's profile does not fit that of supporters or soldiers that the group has claimed in the past, writes Mina al-Lami, who monitors jihadist groups for the BBC.
If true, his suicide would be deemed wholly un-Islamic, she adds.
Jihadist suicides involve the assailant blowing himself up in order to kill those around him.
What we know about the gunman

The investigation continues to gather pace, with searches at Paddocks' Mesquite home, where more weapons were found, and a second property.
Paddock lived in Mesquite with Marilou Danley. Police have interviewed her but say she does not appear to have been involved as she was out of the country. They are hoping to speak to her again.
Police say he used some of her identity documents to check in to the Mandalay Bay.
Who are the victims?
The authorities have yet to confirm the identities of any of the 58 killed.
Jordan McIldoon, 23, from British Columbia in Canada, has been identified as a victim of the attack by CBC News.
'We helped three victims'
A nurse, Sonny Melton, of Big Sandy, Tennessee, has been named as another victim by The Jackson Sun newspaper.
In a Facebook post, his wife, Dr Heather Gulish Melton, said she lost my true love and knight in shining armor. I appreciate the prayers but I just need some time.
An off-duty Las Vegas police officer was another of those who died.

THE ELEVATOR SHAFT - Meet John Michael Peterson
From the creators of The Basement, The Boiler Room, and The Study, comes a new and technologically advanced escape room experience: The Elevator Shaft. You and 5 other guests (6 total) are trapped in the bottom of an old dilapidated elevator shaft. You will have to use your ingenuity and wits to overload the emergency access door and escape. Can you solve the room and make a run for it before the overhead 10-ton steel antique elevator descends and crushes you and your friends into oblivion?
With a new proprietary advanced control system, hydraulics, fog, lighting, and water effects, The Elevator Shaft sets a new precedent for the words “immersive”, “intense”, and “realistic”. This is a full 45 minute game that allows up to 6 people to play at one time. The Elevator Shaft features a fully functional moving ceiling (themed as the bottom of the elevator) that starts from 14 feet high and descends throughout the game to a mere 5’10”, forcing most players to crouch in the final minutes of the game. The overlying theme of this game is the danger of electricity and its danger amplified when water is introduced. Although no guests will actually feel any real electricity, the room effectively delivers the opposite belief. Once again, more than ever, the creative team at Dark House Entertainment has delivered a puzzle game that doesn’t feel like you’re laboring away at puzzles. The game is filled with physical and tactile tasks that require critical thinking and strong team work to complete. Communication and focus are a must if you want to succeed at this difficult and equally terrifying game.

THE STORY of THE ELEVATOR SHAFT
About 3 months ago, cannibalistic serial killer, Edward Tandy hired an engineer named John to help him make some “engineering” changes to an antique service elevator on his property. After working on the elevator shaft for a day or two, it became clear to John that Edward’s use for this machine seemed sinister in nature. He confronted Edward and refused to help any longer. Edward told him that not only would he continue to work on the project, but that he would not be allowed to leave the compound until the project was complete, and if he did so, John’s wife and daughter would be killed.
Now the project is done and John is long dead, his life taken inside the death trap he helped to build. You wake up and find yourself in the bottom of the shaft, with a video recorded by John himself. Unbeknownst to Edward, the engineer has hidden a series of steps within the inner workings of the elevator’s shaft itself, that if you’re able to figure out, you can blow open the emergency access to the shaft and make a run for it. Can you decipher John’s notes, and find the secret sequence of steps in order to escape? Or will you be crushed by the 10-ton antique steel monster that hangs above?

Good morning, I’m still reporting on: Petition to Probe Vegas Shootings, 1823
Synopsis: Although new startling stories are still coming out as a result of the Oct., 1 Massacre in Las Vegas, the MSM has settled on the line that the shootings were the work of a single insane gunman.
I would love to believe this, as it would be so much simplier to move onto less horrific topics, but sometimes the truth is not that easy to deduce.
No, the truth keeps popping up in the most unusual places, as we’ll see with tomorrow morning’s shocker.
The truth is that the truth will never be uncovered when a strangely compliant media is ignoring standard crime reporters’ questions. How many guns were there? How many rounds were shot by the supposed shooter? How many shell casings were in the room?
These are simple, standard questions that the public has expected in the past to be made available in short order. There is no investigational reason to not ask these questions, nor answer them forthwith – unless the revealed something which puts the lie to the MSM party line – that there was only one shooter at one location.
At this point, there is only one way to put this to rest, and that is a totally transparent Congressional investigation into this matter. Therefore, we have posted a Whitehouse.gov petition entitled “Investigate the October 1st Mass Shooting in Las Vegas”. “The October 1st mass shooting event in Las Vegas has shocked the nation, but we, the people, have lost significant trust in the FBI to honestly investigate this event.
“For example, the Clark County, Nevada Sheriff, Joe Lombardo, said in an Oct. 4th news conference that shooter Steven Paddock could not have acted alone; he left no suicide note; he wanted to escape and he had an escape plan.
“Photos taken inside Paddock's room on the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay hotel show fewer than 100 shell casings, yet, perhaps as many 2,000 shots may have been fired. Yet, the media now insists he was the lone shooter.
“The public does not know what to believe and only a fully-transparent, bi-partisan investigation by Congress can decide truth from fiction and determine who was involved and why.”
Here’s the link to this petition. I’d appreciate it if you could spread this around.

Road trip in USA
My girlfriend and I traveled through the states on a 2,5 month road trip. We had an amazing time and hope to go back some day.
We started April 24 in New York City and ended in Los Angeles, July 10 (2013)
We rented a campervan through Escape Campervans. We can't recommend them enough. While it was no dream car, it's definitely a looker! The price and service were great, too.
The video only briefly takes you through some of the things we saw.
As is evident, the video quality isn't always the best and there's a few hiccups once in a while.
Music used:
1) Electric Light Orchestra - Mr. Blue Sky
2) Jonas Alaska - In The Backseat
3) Stevie Wonder - Sir Duke
4) Bill Withers - Just The Two Of Us
5) Beach Boys - Isn't It Time
6) Ray Chales - Hallelujah (I Just Love Her So)
