SUNS OF THE WEST ON TOUR 1975
The Suns of the West, a South Dakota based music group, toured throughout the upper mid west from 1969 - 1977. They served as headliners and back up band in night clubs, county fairs, concerts, and festivals during this time. This video includes music recorded live on their 1975 tour. Pictures show the performers on stage as well as back stage in order to give you a sense of what being on tour was really like. This tour was thru the states of Wisconsin, Michigan, and Illinois and included performances with Guy & Ralna Hovis, Joe Conti, Arthur Duncan, Pee Wee King, Bonnie Ferguson, Ronnie Sessions, Billy Thurnderkloud & the Chieftans, Barbi Benton, Tommy Cash, and Jerry Reed. The band was made up of two brothers, one sister and their wives and husband.
