Episode 1: Get Lost in Woodstock
Woodstock, Vermont is one of the quaintest, most picturesque towns in the world---and disclaimer: it is also my hometown. But trust me, this Rockefeller town has a walking village filled with boutique shops, a center town green, an iconic covered bridge, and nearby working farm-Billings Farm--all of which looks charming in the green summers or snowy winters. The Woodstock Inn & Resort is the backbone of the time, and has been popular with locals & tourists for years.

ABOUT NUTRIMOST VERMONT
The doctor of the future will give no medicine, but will interest his or her patients in the care of the human frame, in a proper diet, and in the cause and prevention of disease. - Thomas Edison
We desire to see families at higher levels of health and well-being in every way. The dramatic increase in the number of hospitals, medical facilities, and drug stores in recent years illustrates a degeneration of health in our community, and an utter lack of true health care. Our team at NutriMost is committed to caring for your health, instead of simply doing what everyone else is doing: ignoring the underlying cause of disease and covering up the symptoms and pain with drugs.
Our desire, and commitment, is to empower each of our patients with life-saving knowledge. We will not water down the message of life and health, nor will we simply give patients what they want while ignoring what they need in order to live healthier, happier lives.
We strive daily to realize a healthier, happier, full-of-life community with less sickness and fewer preventable deaths.
Curtis Gross
I am a 1983 Graduate of the New York Chiropractic College and am licensed in both Vermont and New York State as well as being an active member of the Vermont Chiropractic Association. In February 1984 I opened Middlebury Chiropractic and have been faithfully serving the community ever since. I have given workshops and seminars on wellness, stretching, nutrition, exercise and chiropractic care.
I am blessed to be a father to three amazing boys. I love being their teacher and their guide, but most of all being the rock they can count on no matter what.
I spend a good portion of my personal and professional time researching new and interesting avenues of health in order to have cutting edge information for my patients. I will do anything possible to help spread this valuable health information to as many people as I can.
My primary goals: first, to help everyone relieve and alleviate pain by providing the best chiropractic care possible, but a close second is to help alleviate future pain episodes by providing ongoing chiropractic care, as well as guidance for wellness through better nutrition, fitness, flexibility and a positive outlook. Weight can play a big part in body aches and pains, headaches, diabetes, heart and blood pressure issues and so much more.
I take difficult cases that other chiropractors don’t. I get results because I ask for a higher level of commitment and I also give a higher level of commitment. Once a patient walks through the door, they know I am in 100% and I will never give up on them.
THE FOUNDER OF NUTRIMOST
Dr. Ray Wisniewski, PSc.D
Dr. Ray Wisniewski is the creator and founder of NutriMost Wellness and Weight Loss. His passion for helping each person live their MOST healthy life was the foundation for developing the NutriMost program. His appreciation for each person’s unique wellness challenges led to the development of a truly customized plan that provides personalized supplementation and menus, professional supervision, an interactive guidance mobile app and much more.
Dr. Ray has been credited time and again for transforming lives. Many clients have stated that NutriMost Wellness and Weight Loss is the first program that enabled them to successfully achieve their goals.
A proud Pittsburgh native, Dr. Ray began his journey in natural health at the University of Pittsburgh and Palmer Chiropractic University, where upon graduating Magna Cum Laude he returned to his hometown of Pittsburgh… And on one of the most fateful and favored days of his life he opened his practice on January 22, 1983 and that same evening met Lori, to whom he has been very happily married to since 1985.
More than anything, Dr. Ray is passionate about helping people live healthier, better quality lives, in his community and across the world. NutriMost is allowing him to do just that - and in a big way! People all over the country are losing dramatic amounts of weight, learning principles of good health, and having their lives restored and transformed because of NutriMost.
All of this is just the beginning, for Dr. Ray is constantly hard at work developing new all-natural supplements, educating professionals, and finding ways to help people live better, healthier lives. Although Dr. Ray has been traditionally trained as a Doctor of Chiropractic, he presents and offers NutriMost services as member only services under his Pastoral Medicine License # L29076049. Dr. Ray is a Christian who believes that God created this body with an amazing healing power and that there is nothing outside the body, that is as powerful as the power that God put inside the body. Pastoral Medicine is the Professional Blend of Scriptural Health Wisdom and Understanding along with Leading Edge Science.
The Vermont Country Store in Weston Vermont 9-24-2014
Although The Vermont Country store first opened in Weston, Vermont, in 1946, its origins lie in the Orton family’s long Vermont history. In 1897, Gardner Lyman Orton, the 8th generation of Ortons in the United States, opened a general store along with his father Melvin Teachout in Calais, Vermont. Gardner and his wife Leila's eldest son Vrest was born the same year. The Teachout-Orton store was the focal point of Vrest's early years and served as the original inspiration for The Vermont Country Store.
After serving in World War I, in France, Vrest entered the class of 1923 at Harvard and then served briefly in the U.S. Consular Service before moving to New York City in 1925. There he was on the staff of H.L. Mencken’s American Mercury, Alfred Knopf publishers, the Saturday Review of Literature, Life magazine, and in 1929 founded the international book collector’s magazine, The Colophon. During this time, Vrest became known as an authority on typography and book collecting and published many articles about various American writers. Vrest returned to Vermont in 1930 and settled in the village of Weston. He married Mildred Ellen Wilcox in 1936 and founded a book publishing company, The Countryman Press, the same year.

During World War II Vrest worked at the Pentagon as a speechwriter and publicist. There he hatched the idea of creating a catalog and store based on the Teachout-Orton store.

Vermont Country Store's Cruise in to Mildred's
The beautiful Vermont Country Store, located in Weston, VT, hosted a car show for local owners at Mildred's Dairy Bar yesterday, which brought out a magnificent Cobra 427, a fully-restored C1 Corvette, and some modern muscle in the form of a C6 and Shelby GT Convertible. This, interestingly, was the inaugural show, and I certainly hope that the Store will continue these events later this summer. See more at .

Hi, CORVAIRWILD here. A little about me and what I do: First, I love my wife of many years, she is a wonderful lady. I call her Mrs CW. I can never go anywhere without her & my Dog Muggs! He's cool. You should have a dog like him too. Next, I am a landlord, NO, not a slumlord who does section 8 apartment rentals, but I keep my properties up like they were my own...they are my own! Like I live there. I have lots of apartment buildings, a farm out in the country and a house here and there. I am always doing something, driving rehabbing, you name it! I want to include you, so I bring my camera! EVERYWHERE! Haha.
ENJOY.
Did I mention I am a car enthusiast! I can't get enough Covairs and Vintage Chevy and GMC trucks. They have great reliability...all of em' the best vehicle on the road ever is a Corvair Spider Turbo. Back to the trucks, I love the diesel trucks and suburbans, Blazers too. That's what I plow snow with. A fisher snow plow. I'm a busy guy, but I make time for you. Thanks! CW
