Solaire Resort & Casino (formerly known as Solaire Manila) is a resort and casino in Entertainment City, a massive complex built along the Bay City area of Parañaque, in Metro Manila, Philippines by way of a proclamation for tourism by H.E. President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo. The complex includes a five-star hotel with a total of 800 guest rooms, suites and villas. Solaire Resort and Casino was opened on March 16, 2013, the first of 4 casino resorts to open in the area. It is currently the tallest hotel in the Manila Bay area outside the City of Manila—a distinction previously held by Sofitel Philippine Plaza.[1]

It was a cloudy Thursday afternoon on November 28 of 2019 when we departed from SMC at around 5pm bound to our OEP (Field Trip) destination, the Theatre at the Solaire Resort & Casino in downtown Parañaque City! We are headed there to experience a once in a lifetime musical experience with Cats The Musical!!!
The Manila leg of the Cats tour live in Solaire lasted from November 6th, to December 2nd. Tickets ranged from ₱1,567.50 to a whopping ₱7,315.00 for VIP seats. Joanna Ampil, a Filipina actress will be joining the company as Grizzabella. The actress is known for her appearances as Maria Von Trapp in The Sound of Music, Kim in Miss Saigon and Candida in the 2017 film Ang Larawan among others.
The whole Musical lasted approximately 3 hrs with a 30 minute intermission and break during the show. We we're seated on the seats just atop the Balcony, whilst my dad sat and filmed the concert on a different concert date at the front VIP seats.
It was such an amazing experience to witness Cats The Musical, as it had an awesome cast with such great vocalists. This was all accompanied with a strong and powerful musical organ and orchestra behind the theater.
[FACT] - This video was filmed with Panavision Cameras and Lenses and is also powered and ran through by Dolby Atmos 5.1, Digital DTS Sound, and THX. Dolby Atmos gives a new and enhanced listening and sound experience atmosphere, and is the most trending and the newest in the market today.
