The Beauty of the world around us.
The City of New York, usually referred to as either New York City (NYC) or simply New York (NY), is the most populous city in the United States. With an estimated 2018 population of 8,398,748 distributed over a land area of about 302.6 square miles (784 km2), New York is also the most densely populated major city in the United States.[10] Located at the southern tip of the state of New York, the city is the center of the New York metropolitan area, the largest metropolitan area in the world by urban landmass[11] and one of the world's most populous megacities,[12][13] with an estimated 19,979,477 people in its 2018 Metropolitan Statistical Area and 22,679,948 residents in its Combined Statistical Area.[3][4] A global power city,[14] New York City has been described as the cultural,[15][16][17][18][19] financial,[20][21] and media capital of the world,[22][23] and exerts a significant impact upon commerce,[21] entertainment, research, technology, education, politics, tourism, art, fashion, and sports. The city's fast pace[24][25][26] has inspired the term New York minute.[27] Home to the headquarters of the United Nations,[28] New York is an important center for international diplomacy.[29][30]
Situated on one of the world's largest natural harbors,[31][32] New York City consists of five boroughs, each of which is a separate county of the State of New York.[33] The five boroughs – Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan, The Bronx, and Staten Island – were consolidated into a single city in 1898.[34] The city and its metropolitan area constitute the premier gateway for legal immigration to the United States.[35] As many as 800 languages are spoken in New York,[36][37][38] making it the most linguistically diverse city in the world.[37][39][40] New York City is home to more than 3.2 million residents born outside the United States,[41] the largest foreign-born population of any city in the world.[42] As of 2019, the New York metropolitan area is estimated to produce a gross metropolitan product (GMP) of US$1.9 trillion.[8] If greater New York City were a sovereign state, it would have the 12th highest GDP in the world.[43] New York is home to the highest number of billionaires of any city in the world.[44]
New York City traces its origins to a trading post founded by colonists from the Dutch Republic in 1624 on Lower Manhattan; the post was named New Amsterdam in 1626.[45] The city and its surroundings came under English control in 1664[45] and were renamed New York after King Charles II of England granted the lands to his brother, the Duke of York.[46] New York was the capital of the United States from 1785 until 1790,[47] and has been the largest US city since 1790.[48] The Statue of Liberty greeted millions of immigrants as they came to the U.S. by ship in the late 19th and early 20th centuries[49] and is an international symbol of the U.S. and its ideals of liberty and peace.[50] In the 21st century, New York has emerged as a global node of creativity and entrepreneurship,[51] social tolerance,[52] and environmental sustainability,[53][54] and as a symbol of freedom and cultural diversity.[55] In 2019, New York was voted the greatest city in the world per a survey of over 30,000 people from 48 cities worldwide, citing its cultural diversity.[15]
Many districts and landmarks in New York City are well known, including three of the world's ten most visited tourist attractions in 2013;[56] a record 62.8 million tourists visited in 2017.[57] Several sources have ranked New York the most photographed city in the world.[58][59] Times Square, iconic as the world's heart[60] and crossroads,[61] is the brightly illuminated hub of the Broadway Theater District,[62] one of the world's busiest pedestrian intersections,[63][64] and a major center of the world's entertainment industry.[65] The names of many of the city's landmarks, skyscrapers,[66] and parks are known internationally. Manhattan's real estate market is among the most expensive in the world.[67][68] New York is home to the largest ethnic Chinese population outside of Asia,[69][70] with multiple distinct Chinatowns across the city.[71][72][73] Providing continuous 24/7 service,[74] the New York City Subway is the largest single-operator rapid transit system worldwide, with 472 rail stations.[75][76][77] The city has over 120 colleges and universities, including Columbia University, New York University, and Rockefeller University, ranked among the top universities in the world.
Alaska at War
The Alaska at War film project was an effort to document events of World War II in Alaska. It was funded by the Alaska Legislature through the Alaska Historical Commission and was supported by the Alaska Historical Society and private subscription. The production work was performed by aurora Films, assisted by a citizen's advisory committee. The production Alaska at War was first shown in public on Alaska Day, October 18th 1986.
This collection was deposited in the University of Alaska Anchorage, Archives and Special collections Department by the Alaska Historical Commission in 1987. Additional papers were presented to the archives by the Alaska Air Command Historian's Office in 1989; and by the Alaska Department of Natural Resources, Division of Parks and Outdoor Recreation, in 1990. The University of Alaska Anchorage offered these records to the Alaska State Archives July of 2010. Copyright to the production is retained by the State of Alaska. Reproduction of some photographs, oral history recordings, and film out takes requires the permission of the State of Alaska, Aurora Films, the interviewee, writer, or library of origin.

About This Property
A trophy property of the highest order; designed for both formal business entertaining and extraordinary family gatherings. Akin to the 59 carat “Pink Star” diamond recently acquired at auction, Chelster Hall is an irreplaceable crown jewel. Without question, one of Canada’s finest estates. Nearly ten acres of direct waterfront on Lake Ontario within easy highway reach of Toronto’s financial district and the international airport.
Completed in 2006, following five years of careful contemplation, planning and construction, the estate is evocative of the great country castles of England. Built to look 100 years old, Chelster Hall will never age. Classic, timeless, and balanced architecture. Voluminous space. Old world craftsmanship by predominantly local artisans.
Drive through the double controlled front entry gates and pass the sentry gate house, heading towards the main residence. A sense of calm, space, privacy, happiness, and security prevails. Country club rolling lawns. Four season gardens and thousands of trees and shrubs.
Sublime and exquisitely proportioned principal rooms. Quarter sawn White Oak flooring. Plaster moulding. Custom cabinetry. European influenced elegant precast fireplace mantels (most with gas log insets). Top drawer quality abounds in the approximately 43,850 square foot main residence (above grade: 28,975 + lower level: 14,875).
Made for grand parties and entertaining. More muted fun in the main floor billiards room leads guests to the lower level where cheering, festivity, and banter happen. Kick up your heels on the dance floor. Incredible bowling lane. Watch the latest Hollywood release in the comfy leather chairs of the home cinema. Enjoy a single malt scotch and follow a sports team on the TV screens of the pub-influenced wet bar.
Chelster Hall is a world class residence to celebrate the very best that life has to offer.

Whether cooking at home or eating out, chicken and turkey are an all-American favorite. Baked, roasted, grilled or fried. Perhaps the juicy dark meat of a turkey leg for the holidays. Or a plate of chicken wings served up for a ballgame on TV. But like many of our favorite foods, we often don’t think about all the hard work that takes place before it reaches our plate.
The City Of Canton,Ohio
anton is a city in and the county seat of Stark County, Ohio, United States.[7] Founded in 1805 alongside the Middle and West Branches of Nimishillen Creek, Canton became a heavy manufacturing center because of its numerous railroad lines. However, its status in that regard began to decline during the late 20th century, as shifts in the manufacturing industry led to the relocation or repositioning of many factories. After this decline, the city's industry diversified into the service economy, including retailing, education, finance and healthcare.
Canton is located approximately 24 miles (39 km) south of Akron,[8] and 60 miles (97 km) south of Cleveland,[9] in the northeastern part of Ohio. Canton lies on the outskirts of the greater northeast Ohio metropolitan area anchored by Cleveland, and is also a short distance away from the periphery of the greater Pittsburgh area. The city serves as a gateway to Ohio's extensive Amish country, particularly in Holmes and Wayne counties to the city's west. Canton is located along the historic Lincoln Highway, the present-day Interstate 77, U.S. Route 30 and U.S. Route 62, and is also the terminus of the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad.
As of the 2010 Census, the city of Canton is the largest incorporated area in the Canton-Massillon Metropolitan Statistical Area (CMMSA), which includes all of Stark and Carroll counties. The CMMSA reported a population of 404,422. Canton's city population declined 9.7%, down to 73,007 residents.[10] Despite this decline, the 2010 figure actually moved Canton from ninth to eighth place among Ohio cities. Nearby Youngstown in Mahoning County, once considerably more populous than Canton, suffered a larger decline.[10]
Most outside attention given to Canton is focused on two things. The first is football, especially the Pro Football Hall of Fame and the formation in 1920 of what eventually became the National Football League. The second is William McKinley, who conducted from his home in Canton the famed front porch campaign which won him the presidency of the United States in the 1896 election. The McKinley National Memorial and the William McKinley Presidential Library and Museum commemorate his life and presidency. Canton was chosen as the site of the First Ladies National Historic Site largely in honor of his wife, Ida Saxton McKinley.
Canton was founded in 1805. Cantonrep.com quotes Kim Kenney, the curator of the William McKinley Presidential Library & Museum, whose information came from E.T. Heald's series, The Stark County Story, as saying that Canton was incorporated as a village in 1822, and then as a city in 1838.[11]
Bezaleel Wells, the surveyor who divided the land of the town, named it after Canton (a traditional name for Guangzhou), China. The name was a memorial to a trader named John O'Donnell, whom Wells admired. O'Donnell had named his Maryland plantation after the Chinese city, as he had been the first person to transport goods from there to Baltimore.
Canton was the adopted home of President William McKinley. Born in Niles, McKinley first practiced law in Canton around 1867, and was prosecuting attorney of Stark County from 1869 to 1871. The city was his home during his successful campaign for Ohio governor, the site of his front-porch presidential campaign of 1896 and the campaign of 1900. Canton is now the site of the William McKinley Presidential Library and Museum and the McKinley National Memorial, dedicated in 1907.

The Real Reason Walmart Is Closing Down Stores
For a long time, Walmart seemed like the unstoppable juggernaut of the retail world, but things haven't been looking so great for the retail giant. In fact, they just announced another round of closures. So what's going on with Walmart, and will it get better or worse?
In 2016, Walmart purchased Jet.com and began aggressively expanding their online presence. Why? Because Amazon, that's why. The online retail giant was figuratively eating Walmart's lunch, so Walmart had to shift gears from a brick-and-mortar retail word to a digital one.
CEO Doug McMillon told Business Insider that the resulting downturn in profits as they refocused their business was, quote, planned and expected. But it hasn't been all sunshine and roses. Industry experts say that Walmart has had issues figuring out how much to keep in stock to satisfy both online and in-store orders, often resulting in physical locations being either overstocked with unwanted merchandise or understocked on key goods. And considering the whole point of going to Walmart is to get all the vital supplies in one place, not having those items when customers need them is a big problem.

Impeachment trial of President Trump | Jan. 27, 2020 (FULL LIVE STREAM)
The House managers wrapped up their arguments against President Trump on Jan. 24. Trump’s team, including lawyers Pat Cipollone and Jay Sekulow, now has 24 hours to present their case. After Trump’s lawyers conclude their presentation, senators will have an opportunity to submit questions to both sides in writing. Following that, debate will turn to whether to call witnesses and subpoena documents.
Trump was impeached by the House of Representatives in December for abuse of power and obstruction of Congress. Impeachment does not mean that the president has been removed from office. In the next phase, the Senate must hold a trial to make that determination. A Senate impeachment trial has happened only two other times in American history and once in the modern era. At the center of the Democrats’ case is that Trump sought to withhold military assistance and an Oval Office meeting until Ukraine announced investigations into former vice president Joe Biden and his son.

In the summer it goes down up to 600 feet (182m), mainly locates its prey from 20-25 feet (6 ~ 7.6m). It is quite energy consuming because deep down.
