Camping & MTBing Santa Fe, New Mexico | Bandelier National Monument
Our trip to Santa Fe, New Mexico started with us leaving on the 4th of July at 6am from Little Rock, Arkansas. We arrived at Santa Fe KOA Journey around 6pm. We set up our tent and did a quick camp ground review. After that we drove to Blue Corn Brewery where we had amazing food and beer.
The next morning we had french toast, shopped at Trader Joe's, and then went on a Mountain Bike Ride at North West of Santa Fe. The trail systems name we road was La Tierra Trails, and we entered at the La Cuchara Trailhead. Was an amazing ride. After that we drove to downtown Santa Fe where we walked around. We visited Vinyl Cafe, San Miguel Mission (the oldest church in the United State. Built in 1610), Apothecary Restaurant at Santa Fe Oxygen and Healing Bar, and Hervé Wine Bar. After that we left downtown Santa Fe, New Mexico and drove up to Ski Santa Fe in the Santa Fe National Forest to explore and do a little yoga.
We left there and drove to make dinner at camp. For dinner we made filet mignon, salmon, broccoli, and mushroom risotto.
We woke up the following morning and cooked breakfast burritos. After that we drove to White Rock, New Mexico to ride a bus to Bandelier National Monument. Ones done exploring Bandelier National Monument, we drove back to Santa Fe, New Mexico and had a beer at Santa Fé Brewing Company. Our last stop on this trip we went over to Chili Line Brewing Co. where we had a beer and dinner.

Top 10 Cities in the United States
Top 10 Cities in the United States
10.NAPA- Known as one of the finest wine regions in the world, Napa also has the cuisine to match: It's home to French Laundry, one of the most highly acclaimed restaurants in the world, among others. And the rolling hills with endless grapevines make the mini Tuscany, one of the most beautiful places on earth
9.SAVANNAH -Even though it dropped from last year's spot at number 7, Savannah has got it all, said one reader. Thanks to its mix of history, art, shopping, nightlife, and delicious food, you can't have a bad time.
8.NEW YORK CITY -It's no surprise that New York made our list of Top 10 Cities in the United States, though it is a bit of a surprise that it dropped from the fifth to eighth slot. Still, our readers say the city is electric, with something to do around every corner. Aside from Broadway shows, Central Park, Times Square, shopping, and dining, no city gets you more in the holiday spirit than New York.
07.NEW ORLEANS -Our readers call New Orleans a magical city. Not surprisingly, it gets its highest marks for culture, atmosphere and restaurants; our readers say it has the best food in the U.S., with live music around every corner.
6.CARMEL -By far the smallest city on our list, Carmel, Calif. has a big personality with endless charm and beauty. The city is known for its quaint cottages and shops, and the restaurants and artsy boutiques make for a great weekend getaway. What may garner Carmel the most attention however, are the picturesque and romantic ocean views.
5.CHICAGO- The terrific architecture and great ethnic food help make Chicago a must-visit city (even though it dropped a couple spots from last year's list, where it owned the No. 3 slot). The restaurants, skyscrapers, museums, and waterfront all add up to a perfect city for solo, friend, family, or romantic getaways.
4.HONOLULU -The endless beaches and constant sunshine helped Honolulu place high on our readers' list. The genuine friendliness and hospitality of the people make Honolulu a major draw, and the ocean views and fresh seafood can't be beat.
3.SAN FRANCISCO -San Francisco nabbed third place (down from last year's No. 2 spot) with its world of culture and class. I left my heart... said one reader, which may have something to do with the great art museums, opera, food, symphony, and beautiful neighborhoods.
2.SANTA FE - Our readers found Santa Fe to be pure magic; a heaven where souls vacation. Their love bumped it from last year's spot at No. 4 on this list. Go for the atmosphere, architecture, food, and open spaces, said one reader, or take a whole day to explore the galleries.
1.CHARLESTON - With sand, sun, history, good food, and friendly people, Charleston is a consistent hit with the travelers who venture to this gracious and beautiful city (in fact, it's taken first place our list of Top 10 Cities in the United States for three years now and been rated as the friendliest). Nearby beaches and impressive architecture draw visitors, but it's the insanely nice locals who enhance magnificent bed and breakfasts and amazing shopping. The charm of this city brings me back every year, praised one devoted fan. The food, history, architecture and people are wonderful, said one reader. A bucket list city!

Albuquerque, New Mexico - Breaking Bad, Old Town, Nuclear Energy and Sandia Peak
Product: Country Bound Microfiber Towel
Today we explore Albuquerque, New Mexico. Being a Breaking Bad fan I started my day by visiting some of the show's locations, including Twister's also known as Los Pollos Hermanos, Walter Whites house, the Car Wash, and Hank's home. Then I went to Old Town, had lunch at the oldest house Church Street Cafe. Then I visited the National Museum of Nuclear Science and History, and finally took a ride on the Sandia Peak Tramway.

Brownfield, Texas - Black Gold, Ranches and Cotton - YouTube Travel
Brownfield, Texas was a pit stop, nice little motel with a pool, temperature was very hot so a dip in the pool was great. We saw lots of oil wells along the interstate along with signs of the drought and relentless heatwave, dry fields and skinny cattle. Oddly there were a few spots with irrigation where crops were still growing. Current estimates put the cost of the drought and heatwave to the Texas economy at more than 5 billion dollars. Having seen it first hand from the Alabama border to New Mexico it is understandable.
Brownfield is a city in Terry County, Texas, United States. The population was 8,940 at the 2009 census. It is the county seat of Terry County near Lubbock in West Texas.
Brownfield lies in the center of Terry County, within the southern portion of the South Plains and Llano Estacado. The city rests on a windblown deposit called the Blackwater Draw Formation, which is underlain by a thick layer of caliche, referred to locally as the Caprock. Beneath the caliche layer lies fluvial deposits called the Ogallala Formation, which contains a portion of the vast Ogallala Aquifer. The Caprock Escarpment, about 50 miles east, forms a rather precipitous drop of approximately 1,000 feet (305 m) and exposes various geologic layers. In early days, climbing the caprock escarpment was not easy for covered wagons.
The only terrain variation lies at the south end of the city where Lost Draw carves a channel that runs across the entire county. Lost Draw formed over 10,000 years ago at the end of the last Ice Age when the climate of the area was much wetter. When the vast glaciers of the north retreated, the left numerous dry river channels crisscrossing the Llano Estacado. When settlers during the 1800 ventured across this area, they often went into these channels expecting to find water, however, unless significant rains had occurred recently, their search was in vain, with many of the parties becoming lost, hence the name, Lost Draw.
The most notable geographic feature of Brownfield remains its red soil. The soil creates an almost iridescent red color during sunrise and sunset due to the high iron oxide content.
