Muscle Russell and me take a hike down the old Air Trail (part of the Rail Line Trails) in East Thomson CT. We stumble across an old bridge and tunnel under the trail to let the brook to flow through. We also check out The Hermit Cave. Back in 1891 on the morning of December 4th 4 trains collided. Hundreds of people died. After that the rail line was closed. Now it is hiking trail on the sight of the worst train accident ever.

-It all began with a late 70's Street Stock Camaro that was purchased from one of his father's employees. The fun would all begin at the Magic Valley Speedway. The day we showed up to the race track with the street stock, it was the first time that I had even seen the race track, let alone a race, Brett recalls.On September 4th, 2000, Brett made his first start at the Rocky Mountain Raceway in the NASCAR Grand National West Division. Even though he started the race in last place (due to a mishap in the qualifying round), he still managed to fight his way to a 7th place finish. Now in 2007 Thompson Motorsports have participated in two Nascar Craftsman Truck races and as you will see in the video, Thompson Motorsports will keep climbing the ladders of success.

First time at Thompson. My starts were horrible..lol I made absolutely zero changes on my car from stafford. not even a turn on any corner. still over 3100 lbs. threw a 4bbl on it, got some Hoosier 800's from RJ who got them from a truck team take offs, and ran. My goal was to just learn the track. Got thrown on the pole in a 27 car field because I was 8th fastest in practice and with no heats that's what was used and they inverted the top 8. Car was horrible the first 12 laps but it came in after that. fastest lap on lap 16. Fall back to 6th or 7th at one point and worked my way back up to 3rd. Though I actually finished 2nd as the #8 car was a different division who ran with us. P2 and had a blast!
