Thung Si Muang park Ubon
Thung Si Muang park Ubon Ratchathani, Isaan, Thailand. The biggest and hence the central park in the city, it's located in the very heart of Ubon. A nice place to relax, to have your jogging or fitness activities, as well.
If you just arrived, say, at the train station or the airport, consider hiring a cab or a pickup taxi (aka songthaew), or a tuk-tuk, for that matter. 20 baht from the railway station and 200 from the airport, which is basically free, isn't it?
Either way, the park is a cool place to stay and spend a few hours. If you want, buy yourself an ice-cream from the nearest 7-11 (there's a whole bunch of them nearby, really), or some street food (isaan is so known for it, you know), and get yourself a little picnic in the park or go in the active mode and and enjoy the outdoor gym out there and burn some fat :)
Anyways, you're gonna love the place. Just be there, and see for yourselves.
