I took a tour around the Yiwu Industrial Trade City - the largest wholesale market in the world. People come here from every country to buy goods to export. 5.5 million square meters, 7km long, this market is beyond giant. And it's all one interconnected building. I explored it for a day with Collin Abroadcast, a fellow market fanatic. From Christmas decorations to children's toys to hardware and tools, we found a bunch of stuff that blew our minds.

Li Qing- Amidst Awakening & Dreaming
YANG GALLERY Singapore & Beijing proudly presents the latest stunning sculptures by collectible Chinese Contemporary upcoming sculptor Li Qing.
Among several young sculptors in the Chinese Contemporary Art market in recent years, Li Qing is easily distinguishable by his creative works of sparkling statues. Using the tedious process of stringing acrylic and crystals together, Li Qing's works contains not just an impeccable skill but also creating a very distinctive style as a breakthrough way of expression.
Li Qing said: 'Inspired by a dream I had one night during my school day in Xian Academy of Fine Arts, in which I was back in my teenage years weaving and stringing various bits & pieces I could find in my mother's tailor shop. I woke up and became deeply intrigued with the idea of using colored strings of beads to form images that are deeply personal to me.'
With a gentle sway, these captivating forms by Li Qing disperse from view and magically fall back into place again, capturing an unexplainable ethereal quality. The use of unique materials such as these enhances the idea of 3D space concept in his works, expressing another way of representing 'existence'.

Chinese Hotan Hetian White Jade Kids Ru Yi Display vs468
This is a nicely carved Chinese Ru Yi display from Hotan White Jade which has its unique texture and whitish color of that region. The theme is kids climbing on a Ru Yi scroll and cloud motif bar. Not the top level Hotan, but quite a white color.

Scott and Xiao Yao Drink the 2009 Gao Jia Shan Wild Fu Zhuan Hunan Brick Tea
This is an early Gao Jia Shan production consisting of wild tea grown in the Yun Tai mountain area of An Hua county in Hunan at an altitude of 1000 meters. Although this is labelled a Fu Zhuan it's devoid of golden flowers and acts a bit more like a Hei Cha Zhuan.

Stored in An Hua, Hunan since it's production in 2009 this has aged into a thoroughly enjoyable and complex tea. The brewed tea has a molasses and tobacco aroma with a hint of smoke and the taste is sweet, fruity and creamy. It also has something akin to an aged dry Guangdong stored raw pu-erh tea. Cha Qi is strong!

Gao Jia Shan is both a place and the name of the tea factory brand that produced this lovely tea. Gao Jia Shan as a producer doesn't have as long of a history as Yi Yang and Bai Sha Xi tea factories but nonetheless produces very high quality Fu Brick tea processed in the traditional manner.
** Because there is a possibility this may contain a small amount of golden flowers, AND the golden flowers are often inoculated using wheat flour we cannot guarantee this tea is safe for those with Celiac Disease or those that have severe gluten induced allergies **

Begin your day with a visit to Tian'anmen Square-the largest city square in the world. Then proceed to the Forbidden City-a former residence for 24 emperors from Ming and Qing Dynasties. Also visit the Temple of Heaven-a place with beautiful park and magnificent historical Hall of Prayer for Good Harvest and the beautiful imperial Garden -Summer Palace. Leave for Xi’an by an evening train—Z19 (20:48). Overnight in soft sleeper on the train. (B, L)
Day 04 Xi’an
Arrive at Xi'an 07:58, transfer to Grand New World Hotel 4* or similar for breakfast. After breakfast, visit Terra-Cotta Warriors-the eighth wonder of the world and Small Wild Goose Pagoda. Enjoy a leisure evening. (B, L)
Day 05 Xi’an/Guilin
Check out at the hotel and transfer to the airport for the flight to Guilin, a picturesque city. Stay overnight at Guilin Plazea hotel 4* or similar. Enjoy a city tour of Reed Flute Cave. The evening is free at leisure. (B, L)
Day 06 Guilin/Yangshuo
Transfer to the pier for the enjoyable and relaxing Li River cruise, to indulge yourself in the natural art gallery. Lunch onboard the ship. Get off at Yangshuo. After spending some free time at the market, check in at Yangshuo New Century Hotel 4* or similar. Enjoy a free evening or optional show Impression Liu Sanjie. (B, L)
Day 07 Yangshuo/Guilin/Sanya
Enjoy a bicycle ride in the beautiful countryside of Yangshuo. In the evening, transfer to the airport for your flight to Sanya. Upon arrival in Sanya, transfer to Resort Intime Hotel 5* or similar. (B, L)
Day 08-09 Sanya
Indulge yourself in the beautiful sun and sea in Sanya with daily breakfast and dinner included.(B,D)
Day 10 Sanya/Xiamen
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Xiamen. Upon arrival in Xiamen, a city full of colonial charm and coastal appeal, transfer to Xianglu Grand Hotel 4* or similar. The evening is free or to enjoy an optional show “Majic Min’nan”. (B, L)
Day 11 Xiamen
Today, you will enjoy a full day excursion to Hakka Earth Buildings. After breakfast, you will visit Hakka Earth Buildings. After lunch at a local restaurant, continue visiting Tianluokeng Building and Dongdaoxiwai Building. Later today you will be back to Xiamen. (B,L)
Day 12 Xiamen/Shanghai
In the morning, you will take a ferry to Gulangyu Islet. You will visit the Hi-Heaven, and you can watch the traditional Puppet Show and Nan Music Show. Meanwhile, we’ll arrange tea-break for you. Finally, free shopping at Longtou Street, which is the famous shopping street on Gulang Islet. After lunch, transfer to the airport for the flight to Shanghai. Upon arrival, transfer to Yafan Longmen Hotel 4* or similar. Enjoy a free evening. (B)
Day 13 Shanghai
Enjoy a full day tour to the old town, Jade Buddha Temple and Shanghai Museum with audio explanation. Enjoy a walk at Xintiandi, a fashionable boutique shopping area in Shanghai. Return to the hotel. An optional acrobatic show is available tonight. (B, L)
Day 14 Suzhou
Enjoy a full day excursion to Suzhou-a beautiful Garden city in China including visits to Lingering Garden and Ancient Panmen Gate as well as a silk factory. Lunch is served at local restaurant. Return to Shanghai in the evening. The evening is free at leisure. (B, L)
Day 15 Departure
Transfer to the airport for your flight home. End of service. (B)
