Adtranz/Siemens Modular Metro A1 - Tianhe Sports Ctr to Guangzhou E Rwy Stn (Guangzhou Metro Line 1)
The first type of rolling stock introduced on the Guangzhou Metro and the only type in the system to be completely sourced outside of China. This was before a requirement was imposed that most parts must be built domestically (i.e. made in China).
Built by Siemens and Adtranz, they were similar to rolling stock supplied to Shanghai Metro Lines 1 and 2. A total of 21 trainsets were built and they operate exclusively on Guangzhou Metro Line 1. They are fitted with GTO-VVVF traction control system.

Day In Guangzhou China Vlog
Walking around in different parts of Guangzhou. Using a Mo Bike rental bicycle service to go to subway to Xiaobei area where live many black people from Africa. I was accompanied with Chinese friend whom I met in guesthouse. He could speak decent English which is rare. Then we went to some park which name I don't remember. There I saw some tree that amazed me as is keep on creating trunks from roots that fell from branches. If anybody know the name of the tree comment below. After I came back to guesthouse I head to play pool with friend from Spain that I also met in guesthouse. For me was fascinating that pool hall was in the same building as people are living. The pool tables were good and was quite cheap. In the end guy from Israel made some dinner for all of us as he enjoyed cooking.
