Osu Kannon (大須観音, Ōsu Kannon) is a popular Buddhist temple in central Nagoya. Originally built during the Kamakura Period (1192-1333) in neighboring Gifu Prefecture, the temple was moved to its current site by Tokugawa Ieyasu in 1612 after the original temple had been repeatedly damaged by severe flooding. The current buildings are 20th century reconstructions.

#2 - MR. COMPOSITION IS GUIDED AROUND NAGOYA, JAPAN AND PERFORMS
Coming in at Number 2. Wow this whole trip was so massive that even though this video is a sum up of a few hours in Nagoya, Japan where Kinyo and I had our performance at Club Buddha. We took a bus from Tokyo and traveled, passing Mt. Fuji! (the footage isn't on this video), making it to Nagoya. Once there we meet up with my friend Hiroe and she started the adventure through Nagoya, meeting up with the Dj's for the night. We saw the famous Nagoya Tv Tower, The underground mall, The Toganji Temple, the Osu Kannon temple, We walk through the Famous Osu Shopping District, we fed and then we arrived at the venue! We were treated so well and the energy was surreal. Even looking at it now, i'm like wow we really did that. The performances are towards the end, but the full video is a treat!

Japan Vlog #6 A Day Trip To Nagoya Castle
My day off so I do some sightseeing in Nagoya (名古屋市)
Nagoya Castle was built in the beginning of the Edo Period as the seat of one of the three branches of the ruling Tokugawa family, the Owari branch. As such, it was one of the largest castles in the country, and the castle town around it ultimately grew to become Japan's fourth largest city.

Nagoya Castle Video | 名古屋城
Nagoya Castle is one of the three largest castles in Japan along with Osaka Castle and Kumamoto Castle. Completed in 1612, Nagoya Castle was commissioned by the warlord Tokugawa Ieyasu a a symbol of his new found power as the shogun and to cement his hol on west and central Japan. Nagoya Castle was largely destroyed in US air raids in 1945 but rebuilt in 1959 as a modern ferro-concrete reproduction complete with elevator.
