The Cradle of Japanese Aviation: Tokorozawa Aviation Memorial Park and Museum
Being the home of what used to be Japan's first airfield, Tokorozawa can be considered the cradle of Japanese aviation. While the airfield does not exist anymore, the place is now home to Tokorozawa Aviation Memorial Park and Tokorozawa Aviation Museum. In this video, I show you what both of those are like.
Located less than an hour from central Tokyo and easily accessible by train, the Tokorozawa Aviation Memorial Park and museum are a great place to visit on a day trip.
The park has a lot of green spaces, as well as playsets, basketball courts, and other facilities, and so it's a great place to visit not only for aircraft enthusiasts but also for families and so on.
Similarly, the museum is a place worth visiting if you like aircraft, but also if you are just looking to escape the bustle of Tokyo and learn something new. Some of the aircraft you will be able to see on your visit include a NAMC YS-11, a Curtiss C-46, and a North American T-6.
Inside the museum, there are not only the actual aircraft, but also many interactive exhibits teaching the basics of flight as well as the history of aviation, and so it's a place that children will enjoy a lot too.
While most of the descriptions and other things are only in Japanese, some of them are bilingual. Regardless of that, though, you will have a great time no matter if you speak Japanese or not.

The Tokorozawa Aviation Museum is in Saitama prefecture, right next to Tokyo. A great museum with lots of aircraft on display, special exhibits (such as the Zero fighter which was on display in 2013) and a movie theatre with an IMAX projector. For anyone with an interest in Japanese aviation, this is the place to go!

I made this video while walking in the Tokorozawa Aviation Memorial Park 所沢航空記念公園 in Tokorozawa Japan. The video starts out near the Tokorozawa Aviation Museum 所沢航空発祥記念館. I'm standing on what was the original runway for the first ever Airfield in Japan. Which opened in 1911. Next view is of Koku Koen Station across the street from the park. More views walking around, and some views of a popular fishing pond in the Park.

เป็นพิพิธภัณฑ์แรกในญี่ปุ่นที่นำเครื่องบินมาจัดแสดงในสวนด้านนอก
เครื่องบินที่จัดแสดงทั้งด้านนอกและในตัวอาคารเป็นเครื่องบินที่ผ่านประวัติศาสตร์การรบ
และเป็นเครื่องบินที่เคยใช้จริงในช่วงสงคราม ทำให้ได้เรียนรู้เกี่ยวกับประวัติศาตร์การบินและวิศวกรรมการบินของญี่ปุ่น ซึ่งหาชมได้ยากในปัจจุบัน

????การทดลองต่างๆด้านการบิน ซึ่งการทดลองที่แสดงเด็กๆสามารถสัมผัสได้จริง อธิบายง่ายเข้าใจง่ายและสนุกมากๆ
????มีส่วนของWorkshop งานประดิษฐ์เกี่ยวกับเครื่องบินทำให้เด็กๆเข้าใจหลักการการบินได้ง่ายขึ้น

❤️จากที่เคยไปมาหลายที่ อยากบอกว่าที่นี่เป็นพิพิธภัณฑ์ที่เจ๋ง และ คูล สุดๆ
อยากแนะนำมากมาย +++
ขนาดคนที่ไม่มีความสนใจไม่มีความรู้ในเครื่องบินอย่างแม่ออยล์ ยังตื่นเต้นตื่นตาตื่นใจมากๆเลย
เนื่องจากยังไม่ค่อยเป็นที่รู้จัก คนมากันน้อย ทำให้เด็กๆได้สัมผัสได้ทดลองกิจกรรมมากมายที่ไม่ควรพลาด!!!

零戦エンジン始動見学会 A6M5 Zero Engine Run-up Display @ Tokorozawa Aviation Museum

It is a Zero fighter type 52 of PLANES OF FAME which come back to Japan after an interval of 18 years .
I shooted an engine run-up of Zero Fighter on March 28 .
Fortunately , I think it to have become the powerful movie because I was able to shot it from the front row .

18年ぶりに日本に上陸した PLANES OF FAME の零戦五二型です。
3月28日に開催されたエンジン始動見学会(2回目)の様子を撮影しました。
幸運なことに最前列から撮影出来ましたので迫力のある映像になったと思います。
18年ぶりに飛行するシーンを再度撮影したいと思いますが，延長された展示期間中に実現するでしょうか？？。
