Akihabara gamers mecca electronic town souvenirs from Tokyo Japan ????????
Akihabara (秋葉原) [20] is Tokyo's Electric Town, located on the eastern side of the central Chiyoda ward. The area houses thousands of shops selling every technological gadget you can imagine, from computers to gaming consoles and vacuums to DVDs, at rather reasonable prices. This area is also known as the Gamer's Mecca and has in recent times become strongly identified with anime/manga subculture, with the legions of otaku geeks traipsing down on weekends known as Akiba-kei.#akihabara

LIVING IN JAPAN - TOKYO STATION'S UNDERGROUND I FOUND CINNABON! { A Daily Tokyo Life vlog}
LIVING IN JAPAN - TOKYO STATION'S UNDERGROUND I FOUND CINNABON! { A Daily Tokyo Life vlog}
Today Hiromi and I went to Ginza 6 mall for a bit of shopping and to get some food from a specialty food store.
Walked from Ginza over to Tokyo Station and walked / shopped around the Tokyo station underground mall.
Ginza Six - Ginza Six is a luxury shopping complex located in the Ginza area of Tokyo, jointly developed by Mori Building Company, J. Front Retailing, Sumitomo Corporation and L Catterton Real Estate (LVMH).The name Ginza Six or G Six reflects the building address in Ginza 6-chome as well as the desire to provide an exceptional six-star shopping experience.
Tokyo Station (東京駅 Tōkyō-eki) is a railway station in the Marunouchi business district of Chiyoda, Tokyo, Japan, near the Imperial Palace grounds and the Ginza commercial district.
Served by Shinkansen high-speed rail lines, Tokyo Station is the main intercity rail terminal in Tokyo. It is the busiest station in Japan in terms of number of trains per day (over 3,000), and the fifth-busiest in Eastern Japan in terms of passenger throughput

Guys, I've decided that I'm going to take a more direct and honest approach with you, my viewers. And part of that real talk has to do with something most Youtubers are not that willing to talk about - money.
The thing with Youtube ad-revenue is that it really doesn't make channels money, and the only way smaller channels can earn an income worth the time spent making videos is with lots of low quality content, or sponsored content.
Thus, I started Patreon to help with the costs of producing these videos. There's a few costs like: travelling around Tokyo, entrance fees and the cost of my time (hundreds of hours scripting, shooting, editing).
A lot of my fellow YouTuber friends are using Patreon so that their audience can support them directly. I would LOVE to make working on this channel my full-time job, so If you feel that my content is worth it then please have a look at my Patreon page and help me grow TheTokyo Drew community.
Let's make awesome vids together:

Shopping in Tokyo: Where to find the most unique items
One of the most fun parts of traveling a foreign country is shopping and checking out the products that might be completely different than those in your country. Fashion, lifestyle items, hobby supplies, things only available in Japan. Shopping in Tokyo is a lot of fun! The variety of goods is amazing...be careful not to break the bank!
◆ ◆ ◆
◆ ◆ Tokyo's prettiest luxury shopping street Marunouchi-Naka-Dori
Marunouchi-Naka-Dori near Tokyo Station is - in addition to Ginza - one of Tokyo's most luxurious shopping streets.
Especially in winter when the golden illuminations decorate the trees along the avenue it's fun to stroll around.
Since the summer of 2015, Marunouchi-Naka-Dori has become a pedestrian heaven, so no cars during daytime! As a result, the noise of cars and the city has decreased quite a bit, and the number of street cafes has increased. Not only famous international brands but also many Japanese high-brand stores gather here. You'll find exquisite fashion and lifestyle items that can only be purchased here.
◆ ◆ A bookworm's heaven: bookstore town Jimbocho
With about 200 bookstores Jimbocho area is the largest book town in Tokyo. Most of the bookstores focus on old books. They also sell authentic old maps and woodblock prints - called nishiki-e or hanga. You also find a lot of old magazines, movie posters and movie scripts, which also look nice when used as interior decoration items.
Some of the bookstores have specialized in Japanese manga, art books, or even architecture related books.
In the backstreets, you find cozy retro cafes where you can relax and read the books you purchased.
◆ ◆ Ogawamachi, a district specializing in sporting goods
Ogawamachi is all about sports. There are about 100 shops!
If you plan to go on a skiing trip to Japan, don't forget to stop by. You will find everything you need here.
Of course, there are many other shops, too, dealing products other than winter sporting goods.
For example, if you enjoy running, you can get perfectly fitted shoes. Staff will measure the size of your feet and give you advice about the best option for your feet. Some shops even offer customized shoes meaning you can choose your favorite color and design!
◆ ◆ ◆
Chiyoda ward in the center of Tokyo is a great place to go on a shopping spree. Whether you want to buy a gift for yourself or a gift for your family and friends, in this area, you'll find what you're looking for!

Tokyo Japan
Video taken last 05 February 2019
Location 1 of this video:
First Avenue Tokyo Station
1 Chome-9-1 Marunouchi, Chiyoda City, Tokyo 100-0005, Japan
One of our favorite places to go back to Tokyo is the First Avenue Tokyo Station for the food, souvenirs and lots of shops in this place.
Here we visited Stores like Doraemon, Rement, Kabukiyahonpo, Calbee Plus and many more.
We think that 1 day will not be enough to visit all the shops here. They have all the famous cartoon characters here and not only limited to japanese characters like Kabuki, Anime and Manga. Famous landmark also is the Tokyo Okashi Land for all your confectioners, freshly made products seen firsthand, gift shops and so many concept stores.
There’s also the Tokyo Ramen Street inside this Avenue but we decided to try the Camp Curry at Otemachi which is just walking distance and we didn’t regret it.
Location 2 of this video:
Toyosu Market
6 Chome-3 Toyosu, Koto City, Tokyo 135-0061, Japan
We didn’t enjoy tour visit here at Toyosu Market (The New Tsukiji Market) except for the Food Hall.
This is newly opened by the time we visited (around 4 months old) and probably we came at the wrong time of the day because wholesale viewing are done and we didn’t see much of it. Also It is off limits to visitors so you can only view it from their observation window when you come in the morning around 5am. This is really a big place so expect long walk to go from building to building.
We’ve tried the Tonkatsu Restaurant and beware it so crowded when you dine during lunch time.
Check out this link for other details:
Location 3 of this video:
Ippudo
Japan, 〒104-0061 Tokyo, Chuo City, Ginza, 4 Chome−10−3 セントラルビル 1F
First time to try Ippudo here in Tokyo although we have it also in our home country. We just want to compare the standard and quality. Basically same but you know the feeling when youre having it from the original source. You can really feel the depth of the flavor in every bowl of their tonkotsu ramen and the gyoza is also so good.

Kitte Marunouchi is the new shopping, dining and cultural face of the post office building that has dominated the west side of Tokyo Station since 1933. Kitte Marunouchi occupies one underground floor and the first six floors of the 38-floor JP (Japan Post) Tower that replaced the old post office building in 2013. 【4K】도쿄역 東京駅 Walking around Tokyo Station, Tokyo ????????
Tokyo Station and its beautiful, nostalgic red brick building is on the must-see list of every tourist to Japan. Besides its impressive value as a sightseeing spot, Tokyo Station is also an important hub that isn’t only served by major JR Lines such as Yamanote and Chuo but also is a major station for several shinkansen bullet trains. About 3,000 trains arrive and depart at Tokyo Station on a single day and when traveling around Tokyo, it’s going to be an important station for you as well. The station premises boast a large variety of shops and restaurants, offering both respite to rest tired legs and great opportunities for unique souvenir shopping.

Don Quijote in Akihabara
4-3-3 Sotokanda Chiyoda-ku Tokyo, Japan 101-0021
TIP: This place can be so overwhelming I tell you. You have to plan ahead, list down the things you want to buy and never buy on impulse if possible. I suggest to navigate first the place, rememeber which places and floors you find them and return the next day. Shopping wisely always saves the day.
That's it for now. Thank you for sparing your time in reading this blog entry.
Always be inspired and dream big.
