Toyokawa-Inari is a Japanese temple.
The temple's true name is Myogon-ji.
Toyokawa Inari Temple in Akasaka, Tokyo: Protected by 1000 Foxes, the Deity of Rice
In the middle of one of the busiest districts in Tokyo, there is a mysterious temple guarded by over 1000 foxes. The Toyokawa Inari Temple is home to the Deity of Rice: the Fox. This temple is a popular temple for athletes and people in the entertainment industry to pray for a prosperous year. There are little shrines to give offerings and pray for success, safe childbirth and protection from evil. This temple is truly unique and quite impressive to behold all the different foxes, including the area known as Reiko Zuka where people offer fox shaped statues along with their prayers to the temple.

Toyokawa Inari Station and Shrine
Toyokawa Inari Station and Shrine 7/22/2019. We are at the Toyokawa-Inari Station and are going to walk to the Toyokawa-Inari Shrine/Temple. There are many banners and statues of foxes everywhere dressed in a red type of accessory hanging from each of their necks. It was a fun walk through this Shrine/Temple which is special because it is both Shinto and Buddhist. Later we go and get something to eat right across the street before heading back to the train station. Enjoy!

Toyokawa Inari Shrine
Visit one of the top three Inari Shrines of Japan. Tokoyama shrine, located in Aichi, south of Nagoya. Fushimi Inari Shrine steals the show for most other shrines with its thousands of Red Torii scattered in mountain footpaths behind the main shrine buildings. In Toyokawa, it is the thousand of rock statues of foxes that do the same. Be overwhelmed by the devotion to the deiti of Inari, the fox.

豊川稲荷へは、ご飯を食べに行ったのでなくてね、商売繁盛のお参りに行ったのですよ。
ココはお寺なんですよね。
でも鳥居があったり、キツネが祀ってあったり不思議なところです。
入口から入って本殿でお参りをしたら、すぐに回れ右をして出店を見たいところですが、本殿の左奥へ進みましょう。
まずはお札を買います。
さすが商売繁盛の豊川さん、このお札は毎年よく効きますねぇ。
巫女さんみたいな人から買いますよ。
大小の伽藍がありますので、ゆっくり見ることができます。
中でもよく人がいて人気なのは大黒堂ですね。
専門的な医薬品の製造と販売をしてる所じゃないですよ。
堂の前にある大黒様をさわると金運が上がるとか。
さわるだけでなく、削って粉を財布に入れている人もいるもん。
だからいろんな所が、へこんじゃってますから。
ビリケンさんの足の裏みたいに。
さて、この豊川稲荷で最もそれらしいパワースポットは霊狐塚ですね。
ぜったいなんかいそうだもん。
ここの大岩の隙間にはさまっているお金を探す人がいつもいっぱいいます。
これも金運かなんかの何とからしいですけど、よく知りません。
それよりも、この大量のキツネの像がアレだもんね。

The statue of many foxes is placed.
This is a sacred place.
Daikoku is the god of wealth.
It is believed that wealth is obtained if you touched Daikoku's statue.
Therefore, the Daikoku statue is dented just like the soles of Billiken's feet .
