INDIAS GOLDEN TRIANGLE HIGHLIGHTS | Indian city's travelling to Delhi, Jaipur & Agra
Hi All,
Indias Golden Triangle Highlights section was such a fantastic place to visit and so much history to learn. I was only a short visit of 10 for me on a tour, so limited footage but I really enjoyed my time there. The shear detail and effort that goes into the temples and surrounds is amazing.
The Golden Triangle section covers 3 city's - Delhi, Jaipur and Agra and trust me when I say there is a lot of driving in between. However the 10 days was plenty of time to see the highlights and shows you where you can come back and spend more time on.
Taj Mahal was must do bucket list Item, which I have now crossed off
Thanks
Chris

Beside the head movement, hands and often legs are moved. The rod puppets are 12 to 18 inches long. The manipulator kneels down behind a curtain, holding the puppets above him for the performance. The massive edifice of Hawa Mahal stands at the intersection of the main road in Jaipur, Badi Chaupad. It is regarded as the signature building of the city and was built by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh in the year 1799. Hawa Mahal derives its name from its unique structure, which is a mesh of small windows that allowed cool wind to enter the palace and hence kept the palace comfortable during the hot summer months. The main reason behind the palace's construction was to allow the women of the royal house to observe the festivities on the streets whilst being unseen from the outside. Cradled on the top of the Aravali Hill and forming a beautiful reflection across the Maotha Lake, lies the Amber Fort. An architectural masterpiece and with significant reference in the Indian history, it is visited by over five thousand tourists daily. Only eleven kilometres away from the capital city of Jaipur, Amber Fort is clad in pink and yellow sandstone and is a part of an extensive complex. The Fort gives a mesmerizing view from the bottom of the hill when it is illuminated every evening. Built by one of the most trusted general of Akbar, Man Singh who had a huge impact on the Indian politics and society in the sixteenth century; Amber Fort or Amer Fort as it is locally referred is a photographer's paradise. The magnificent City Palace is one of the most famous tourist
Pink City in Jaipur refers to the old walled city that was built in the year 1727 by Maharaja Jai Singh II. The wall that marks the boundary of the Pink City is about six metres high and three metres thick and encompasses a number of structures within its confines. In keeping with the magnificence of the structure, there are seven different gates that provide access to the Old City, namely Chand Pol, Suraj Pol, Ajmeri Gate, New Gate, Sanganeri Gate, Ghat Gate, Samrat Gate and Zorawar Singh Gate. Built about 275 years ago, today it presents the glorious past of our country through its culture and architecture.

India Railways Train Ride From Jaipur to Ajmer (Indian Train Ride)
This train journey is from Jaipur to Ajmer. This video showcases both normal and high speed footage from my train rides in India using Indian railways. I used my Casio EX-FC100 high speed digital point and shoot camera to capture both slow motion and high definition footage. One will notice the beauty, diversity, poverty and bustling hive of activity that one can see outside of their train window. One will notice monkeys jumping out of trees, darting across tracks and running through farm fields. One will also see cows grazing in the fields, in garbage cans and nearby the tracks. Some of the scenery is particularly stunning with gorgeous sunrises and sunsets. The India railway stations are buzzing with activity as Indian tea men (Chai wallas) sell items, passengers hop on and off board the trains and vendors sell meals.

At times we passed through colourful slums, where life existed on the train tracks along with hectic train stations filled with passengers. One can notice action on board with passengers looking out the window, playing games and viewing the scenery from the exit doors. All of this footage captured in slow motion (high speed) was not registered with my naked eye. In other words, I noticed things from this video that I couldn't see while taking the train ride. It was quite fascinating what was revealed. Overall, it was an amazing experience and something I would love to do again. I recommend taking the trains in India to anyone wanting an authentic experience of domestic travel.

The Mehrangarh Fort | Jodhpur | The Blue City of India | Padharo Mhare Des | #WhereDoWeGoNow
Hello
Forts are the biggest truths about history. Forts are there for a reason. They are the Elements that connects us to the Past, the History that we would have never been aware of. In this Vlog we are going to cover The Mehrangarh Fort of Jodhpur. This Vlog is a complete tour of Mehrangarh fort & its premises. This vlog is from the series of the Jaisalmer & Jodhpur. Watch this Vlog to be a part of the royal History of India. We are Vloggers from India who cover different places in our own way of recording & showing places in detail. Watch this Vlog & see how much of information is there about the Indian History that you are unaware of.
Mehrangarh or Mehran Fort, located in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, is one of the largest forts in India. Built in around 1459 by Rao Jodha, the fort is situated 410 feet (125 m) above the city and is enclosed by imposing thick walls. Inside its boundaries there are several palaces known for their intricate carvings and expansive courtyards. A winding road leads to and from the city below. The imprints of the impact of cannonballs fired by attacking armies of Jaipur can still be seen on the second gate. To the left of the fort is the chhatri of Kirat Singh Soda, a soldier who fell on the spot defending the Mehrangarh fort.
History: Rao Jodha, the chief of the Rathore clan, is credited with the origin of Jodhpur in India. He founded Jodhpur in 1459 (Jodhpur was previously known as Marwar). He was one of Ranmal's 24 sons and became the fifteenth Rathore ruler. One year after his accession to the throne, Jodha decided to move his capital to the safer location of Jodhpur, as the one thousand years old Mandore fort was no longer considered to provide enough security.
With the trusted aid of Rao Nara (son of Rao Samra), the Mewar forces were subdued at Mandore. With that, Rao Jodha gave Rao Nara the title of Diwan. With the help of Rao Nara, the foundation of the fort was decided on 12 May 1459[1] by Jodha on a rocky hill 9 kilometres (5.6 mi) to the south of Mandore. This hill was known as Bhakurcheeria, the mountain of birds. According to legend to build the fort he had to displace the hill's sole human occupant, a hermit called Cheeria Nathji, the lord of birds. Cheeria Nathji was a man with local population as his followers and hence influential in the region. When requested to move he refused categorically.
