In this episode of Cheap Family Travel, ( Nick, Regan, Maggie and Kate went rafting in Northern California with Six Rivers Rafting Company ( along the Trinity River. Rafting is a great family adventure that requires teamwork and is tons of fun. We liked that Six Rivers is a small company that takes out small groups and individualizes each rafting trip. Along with shooting the rapids like Surprise and Hell's Hole, we enjoyed a short hike to a waterfall, jumping off rocks into deep swimming holes, floating down the river, seeing Osprey and other river wildlife, and learning to trust each other.
