Crossing Trift Bridge
Trift Bridge was the longest pedestrian-only suspension bridge in the Swiss Alps until 2015 (when new, 270 m long Carasc Bridge was constructed). The bridge is a simple suspension bridge design spaning 170 metres (560 ft) and traversing a height of 100 metres (330 ft).

Insane Rope Bridge in Foggy Mountains! - Europe Road Trip #12
In this episode we take a several hour hike to the top of a glacial valley and find an incredible steel rope bridge at the top of it. The bridge is called the Trift Bridge and it's located in the Swiss Alps. It's 170 meters (558 feet) long and 100 meters (328 feet) above the ground.

Trift Bridge is one of the most spectacular pedestrian suspension bridges of the Alps. It is 100 meters high and 170 meters long, and is poised above the region of the Trift Glacier. Reaching the bridge requires taking a cable car in Meiringen, followed by a gondola. Finally, a difficult 2 hour uphill hike leads to the bridge.

Just a quick video of the recent crossing of the Triftbrucke on yet another return to the wonderful Bernese Oberland region of Switzerland. It was quite a hike to even get to it (one and half hours upwards) and yes, I had to cross back over to get back down but what an experience!! Would do it again without a thought, enjoy :)
