Tulsi Lake overflows
20 July 2016
Shot this video clip from my mobile since my digicam was giving some trouble! But still, such a beautiful sight to behold.
Seems like the monsoon is good until now! The lake is overflowing almost 10 days before it's usual time!
Tulsi lake starts overflowing
Tulsi, a lake supplying potable water to the Mumbai has started overflowing from July 19 since 6am onwards. Last year, this lake started overflowing on September 22. However, the civic administration is not thinking of withdrawing the water cut as of now.
It is too early to withdraw the water cut as we have to ensure that all the lakes supplying water to the city reaches its full supply level. We still have two months of monsoon to go and have to ensure that we have enough stock, said Sanjay Deshmukh, additional municipal commissioner.
