POTTSVILLE - SURF BEACH

Pottsville Beach on the North Coast is an exposed beach break that has fairly consistent surf. Summer offers the best conditions for surfing. Offshore winds blow from the west. Most of the surf here comes from groundswells and the ideal swell direction is from the east. The beach break offers both left and right hand waves. The quality of the surf isn't affected by the tide. When it's working here, it can get crowded. Sharks may be a hazard at this break.

Mez and Janice stay at the Brooms Head Caravan Park on their road trip in New South Wales. Their site was absolute beach front.

Brooms Head Caravan Park is one of the Clarence Coast Holiday Parks. Check in time is 12pm (sites), 2pm Cabins. Check out time is 10am. The park has powered and non powered sites, beach front powered sites and short term cabin sites. The amenities are old but kept clean and there is a small laundry.
