Navy Destroyer - USS Orleck Tour - We went to Lake Charles, LA and took a tour of the USS Orleck. This is a navy destroyer that was built for World War 2. It has the first ever drone on it which was built and used in 1964.

Feb. 17, 2011 - Washington-Marion and Barbe High School students took a step back in time as they toured the USS Orleck, Railroad Ave. and saw refurbished World War II planes at the Lake Charles airport.
US gives clean chit to crew of navy ship
The Pentagon has given a clen chit to the to crew of Navy ship USNS Rappahannock.
USN ships in San Diego - circa 1955
US Navy ships, and a even a Coast Guard cutter, in the harbor at San Diego, almost certainly in 1955 or 1956, based on the histories of the ships you can identify in the clip. They were almost all ships built during WWII that had been kept in service, or refurbished/modernized and returned to service.

EXPLORING LAKE CHARLES, LA | Things to do in Lake Charles
???? TURN ON NOTIFICATIONS ???? so you never miss a video! It's going to be awesome! - EXPLORING SOUTHWEST LOUISIANA [Lake Charles, LA] - We took a 2 day family road trip to west Louisiana to explore Lake Charles and Ragley.
We started this family adventure by going to Sam Houston Jones State Park in Louisiana. We went for a family hike on one of the trails.
After hiking, we ate some dinner and then drove north to Ragley, LA because my uncle lives there and he has an RV on his property that he let us camp in for the night.
The next morning we woke up and said goodbye to my uncle's dogs and we headed back to Lake Charles. We stopped at Millennium Park in downtown Lake Charles. We played on the HUGE playground that they had there for a while.
After playing at the city park, we decided to check out the USS Orleck, which is an old navy ship that has been commissioned and is now a museum on the lake, Lake Charles.
After exploring the old navy ship, we went to Charleston's for a bite to eat before heading back to Lafayette.
