The city of Ufa is one of the first Russian cities which is started collaborate with an artists who makes street art (graffiti).

For about two years since such a collaboration there already at least ten big street arts, including the ones which are located on a solid walls of 9-floors and higher residential buildings.
In this video you will see a quick review of the most interesting of those street arts.
Gagarin street, 14/1 (Ufa, Russia)
Street art with an image of Yuri Gagarin in a spacesuit. His fame as the first cosmonaut in the World is still pretty big in Russia. You might noticed, but the street with this graffiti is also dedicated to his name.
Gagarin Street, 5 (Ufa, Russia)
It’s just in a few steps from the Yuri Gagarin street art. The graffiti dedicated to the Veterans of the WWII which is in Russia more known as a “Great Patriotic War”. There you can see kinda collective images of how the veterans looked like when they was a young soldiers participating in a WWII. Great Patriotic War was a huge tragedy for all Russian (Soviet) nations and memory about those soldiers who saved the World from fascists is still big.
Chernyishevskiy street, 73 (Ufa, Russia)
This is a street art with a fragment of the picture of famous Russian artist (1862-1942) , Mikhail Nesterov, “The Youth of Veneral Sergiy of Radonezh”. Sergiy of Radonezh is one of the most respectful persons in a land of Russia. He was a monk of Russian Church and a founder of Troitsky Monastery which is still located under the city of Moscow.
Lenin street, 21 (Ufa, Russia)
Graffiti dedicated to the Patriotic War of 1812. It’s a war of Russia against Napoleon’s France on a territory of our country. There an image of four warriors. Two Bashkir warriors and two Russian warriors. Actually, this art reflects a long friendship of Russians with Bashkirs.
Revolution street, 43 (Ufa, Russia)
This is a huge wall which goes across the Head Office of Uralsib Bank, the highest building in Ufa, Russia. It’s the wall where an artist can legally draw their graffiti. A lot of different arts there.
Mendeleev street, 116 (Ufa, Russia)
Graffiti of the dancing Bashkir lady. The city of Ufa is the capital of The Republic of Bashkortostan of Russia. As stated from the name of the republic, historically this is an indigenous land of Bashkir people. This is a nation which has it’s own rich history, culture and traditions. So no wonder why there a Bashkir lady in a national costume is dancing a national dance above the clouds.
This street art painted on a huge solid wall of 10-floors residential building.
Avrory street, 17/1 (Ufa, Russia)
Street art of a boy who reads the book and the shine of knowledge is fallin’ on his face. This graffiti located on a wall of one of the children’s libraries of Ufa. Nice thematical art in an appropriate place and great source of colorful positive for kinda grey block of late-Soviet panel 9-floor residential buildings. Library located right inside of it.
Mushnikov street, 20 (Ufa, Russia)
Nowadays, definitely the best street art in Ufa. It is not only the biggest graffiti painted on a big solid wall of 12-stage residential building but the most colorful picture with a lot of different elements. It is called “Mother with a Baby”. On it’s graffiti we can see a beautiful lady with a water in her hands where right under them in a flower laying a baby. Also there a dove which is sitting in her shoulder.

Fc Ufa anthem - Boys you'll go far (This is Ufa)
First anthem in English written for FC Ufa (Bashkortostan, Russia)
The anthem was released in 2014, when the club gained promotion to Premier Liga.
Lyrics:
All the guys are lining up
Heart is beating faster
It's the fire of Ufa
You're the gems we treasure
Here together standing by
You're the pride we'll never hide
Boys you'll go far
Boys you'll go far
This is Ufa, Ufa
Boys you'll go far
Boys you'll go far
This is Ufa, love you Ufa
And no matter what you do
Thi is Ufa, love you Ufa, we need you
You'll go far far far
You'll go far far
Feel it in the air that you'll go far far far
Rising up high
Scoring the goals in our burning hearts
Run for glory
Shine for us
Make us dream forever
When the cold wind burns your eyes
We'll be calling your name
Singing out 'We love you guys'
And you're meant to win this game
Boys you'll go far
Boys you'll go far
This is Ufa, Ufa
Boys you'll go far
Boys you'll go far
This is Ufa, love you Ufa
And no matter what you do
Thi is Ufa, love you Ufa, we need you
You'll go far far far
you'll go far far
Till the end we'll never leave our red and white
Second to none, Ufa you're my number one

SERGE MARSHENNIKOV paintings ✽ SECRET GARDEN - Illumination
Thanks for watching and comments! ♥ All the best!
Serge Marshennikov (1971) Russian painter
Serge Marshennikov is an artist originally hailing from Ufa, Bashkiria, Russia who has been actively creating art since childhood, and his skill set shows it. Marshennikov creates female portraits and other figurative nude oil paintings, and his work has been exhibited internationally throughout Russia, England, Denmark, France, and Japan. His work is consistently pursued by art collectors around the world which is no real surprise.
Serge Marshennikov Biography
“I was seduced by Serge Marshennikov's alluring female oil portrait, The Pirate Style Bed. Marshennikov uses the languorous pose of his model, a delicate swatch of lace draped over her hip, and deep folds of luxuriant bed sheets, comforters and warm pillows to convey sensuality, femininity and the promise of endless pleasure that comes with waking each morning with original works of exquisite art.” Tomas Hall, art critique, Florida
Serge Marshennikov was born in 1971 in Ufa (Bashkiria, USSR). His grandfather was a general manager of a horse breeding company, his father an electric engineer and his mother a pre-school educator. Since before he can remember, Serge was always drawing, painting and sculpting from any material he could land his hands on. His mother encouraged Serge to study, and from an early childhood he had a succession of private teachers and attended multiple art studios. After receiving several awards for his children’s watercolor and pastel paintings, Serge decided to become a professional painter.
In 1995 he finished the Ufa Art College and then continued education at one of the most prestigious art academies in the world, The Repin Academy of Fine Art in St. Petersburg, Russia. As one of the most talented graduates of the academy, Serge was offered to stay for the post-graduate studies at the studio of an Academician, the Rector of the Academy, Professor Milnikov.
Serge’s first solo exhibition was in the gallery “Sangat” of his native UFA in 1995, a year after graduation. The show was a success and Serge was invited to exhibit at the Artists’ Union gallery. He then exhibited on a semi-annual basis, showing his work to collectors and peers in both St Petersburg and Ufa. Serge’s graduation work quickly caught the eye of faculty members from Brownwood University in Texas, and Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene. As a result, he exhibited during his post-graduation years in the art departments of both Universities.
Serge was awarded “Chairman’s Choice Award” at the 2008/2009 International Art Renewal Center’s salon, and received Certificate of Excellence for his outstanding achievement in art. He was chosen as “Top 30” in 2008 by the Portrait Society of America.
Lately Serge’s paintings have been successfully sold through important art auctions, including famous Christie’s of London and Bonham's in Knightsbridge. His work is in high demand, with paintings currently held in the Museum of Modern Art (El Paso), The Grace Museum (Abilene), and in many important private collections throughout the United States, Russia, England, Denmark, France and Japan.
Serge’s biggest influences were Andrew Wyeth & Lucian Freud. Serge is married, living in Russia with his 7 year-old daughter.
