Text description provided by the architects. This urban sculpture, a new Tivoli info point, is actually the end of another story, the¨TrimoUrbanCrash 2007 competition¨ and beginning of a new project. In the first competition, two projects were chosen to be built as temporal structures. After two months, the event was finished and we took them apart to be recycled. At this time four separate initiatives for permanent use of pavilion came to municipality of Ljubljana, and it seemed to be the perfect opportunity to reuse this urban sculpture. Initiatives were brought by International Center of Graphic Arts (MGLC), National Museum of Contemporary History, academician Jože Bernik and deputy Jožef Školč.

Hey guys, sorry this one's been a long time coming, I've been working flat out this month to get some cash in the pocket so I can start investing into this channel more - I promise it'll be worth your patience. Anyway, here is the final video from my trip to Slovenia in 2015 where I visited the beautifully rustic coastal town of Piran. It's like Slovenia's tiny, secret riviera on the Adriatic coast. It's quite dense because Slovenia's coastline is only about 20 miles long, and you can see both Croatia and Italy to the left and right of the peninsula!
I also met up with my friend Katja who told me to come here and she showed me around the quieter part of town called Fiesa. Nearby Piran is another coastal town called Portoroz which is famous for having many casinos and it was quite a glamorous hotspot a few decades ago - sort of a budget version of Cannes.
I hope you enjoyed the SI15 series, as much as I enjoyed going to Slovenia, I'm sure I'll be back to explore this little gem of Europe some more in the future. For such a small country, I saw three very different places in one week, and that's one of it's best features!
