ST PETER'S TREASURY MUSEUM AND VATICAN GROTTOES-Tombs of the Popes!
From an entrance door inside St. Peter's Basilica, you can visit the Treasury Museum, which features ornate gifts to kings and princes, including a heavily jeweled Papal Tiara. In the main room is the bronze funerary monument to Pope Sixtus IV-the Sistine Chapel was named after him. Underneath the main floor of St. Peter's Basilica is the Vatican Grottoes (not to be confused with the Necropolis which is even lower), containing several tombs of Popes. Both are very interesting and are highly recommended to visit after you see the main attractions in St. Peter's Basilica.

The Vatican, Peter, and 'Satan's Throne'
This is an on-location video from Vatican City and Rome, Italy. Topics covered include St. Peter's basilica, head coverings, the 'keys of the kingdom,' where the Apostle Peter was buried, claims about the Apostle Paul, and why the Cathedra Petri may be a representation of 'Satan's throne.'

360 Video: Inside the Tomb of St. Peter at the Vatican
Get ready to meet St. Peter.
Yahoo News was granted rare access to film inside the Vatican Grottos, a series of chapels and papal tombs located directly beneath the famous St. Peter’s Basilica in Vatican City. In 360 degrees, the final resting places of popes dating back to the Middle Ages can be viewed on a virtual tour narrated by Yahoo Global News Anchor Katie Couric.
Of the 266 Popes throughout history, approximately 100 of them are buried below the basilica. On the tour, viewers will see monuments to Pope Nicholas the Fifth, Pope Innocent the Seventh, and Pope Paul the Second, among others.
In an exclusive and stunning conclusion to the tour, Yahoo News filmed the tomb of St. Peter, the man Catholics call the “First Pope,” one of the twelve Apostles of Jesus Christ. The remains of Peter are located directly beneath the altar where Pope Francis celebrates Mass, and create a literal foundation for the Church and its deep and storied history.

VATICANO - St. Peter's Basilica
Welcome to St. Peters Basilica - some hold it as the most beautiful edifice in the world.
Since its construction it has been the heart of Catholicism in the world and focal point of Papal liturgical activities.
The Basilica, dedicated to the prince of the Apostles, is one of the largest Churches in the world. It has the largest interior space of any church ever built.
But the first thing visitors see is the welcoming square, that embraces the masses…

St. Peter's Square is the center of the Vatican, a tiny state which has great significance for the whole world. The Vatican is located in the heart of Italy, within the limits of its capital. This independent state has its own army, currency and even the postal service. And here is a real open air museum of architectural masterpieces.
St. Peter's Square is the fourth largest in the world. It can contain 300 000 people. Catholics from all around the world come here to get the blessing of the supreme pontiff. The colossal obelisk stands proudly in the center of the square. Caligula brought it there from the Egyptian town of Heliopolis.
Michelangelo Buonarroti took part in the construction of St. Peter's Cathedral. Under the cathedral there are the Vatican grottoes with the tombs of popes and burials dating back to the first centuries of Christianity.
