-Lenjongan: Javanese food comprised of many sweet cakes! Often made with cassava, tapioca, or coconut.
-Brambang Asem: a sweet and savoury Indonesian snack made up of sweet potato leaf and tofu deposit. Careful of that spicy kick ;)

BALI INDONESIA EPISODE 2 - Monkey Forest, Tegallalang Rice Terrace, Danu Bratan, Besakih and more
Hey guys!
This is the part 2 of my Bali adventure. If you have not seen the first one I definitely recommend you to go and check it out. We started first going to the Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary, as normal this animals are really cute but you should be really careful with your stuff because they like stealing from people hahaha. But I would definitely recommend going here.
Afterwards, we went to the well-known Tegallalang Rice terraces and Ow boy they look awesome. But keep in mind this is the most touristic one but we saw some others while we were biking that look amazing and the most important without loads of people.
Later we went to the Pura Ubun Bratan. This temple is close to a beautiful lake and that makes it probably one of the most beautiful in my point of view, but I was sad when I saw that you can't fly drones there :(
We stayed overnight near to Banau Batur. The volcanos look amazing from here. I just wished I had more time to go for a nice hike around because the views were just incredible.
Then we went to Pura Besakih Temple. It's a really nice one but they charge you for everything there (like everywhere in Bali, cheap though) which was kind of annoying and I got super pissed off with them because I don't like when people take advantage of me. At the end, I didn't pay any of their extra stuff and a guide helped us, I paid him anyway haha cool guy that allowed me to fly my drone there :).
Finishing this episode we went to a Beach called to Padang Bai which is full of the typical boats and looks beautiful. Not too good for swimming though but we had a super nice local lunch there to then head back to Denpasar because next day we were leaving to Gili Island. This is the 3rd episode of Bali, so make sure you subscribe so you don't miss it :)

Should You See The Rice Terraces In Bali?
Comments Disabled by YouTube. Following link below to forum for commenting:
When in Bali one of the sites everyone says you have to see are the Rice Terraces. But what is so great about them. We all have fields in our own countries right? When people travel they want beautiful beaches and oceans right. Depending on where you are staying in Bali you are looking at spending around 1 to 3 hours getting there and back. So is it really worth the trip, better to stay at the beach right? Well we’re going to see what all the hoopla is all about. Come along with us and let’s have a rice terrace adventure.
We’ll be heading to the Tegalalang Rice terrace. It’s famous for its terraced layout which offers scenic lookouts of the rice fields. Their beautiful rice paddies are made of an innovative irrigation system known as Subak which was passed down in the 8th Century by a revered holy man. This spot is setup for tourist to take beautiful photos plus they made these gigantic swings.

Cremation Ceremony Indonesia
While on vacation we stumbled upon this cremation ceremony taking place. It is my understanding this is their normal tradtion when someone dies. The body is kept at the home for a few days as they prepare and then they cremate the body in this manner. Once the body is ashes they take the ashes to the river and put them there. The body is then reincarnated... The angled mass in the picture is the actual body which has fallen from the platform... What was interesting is no one was crying... It is a happy occassion for them especially if it's an older person.
