Halong Bay Luxury Cruise | Signature Cruise
This Halong Bay Luxury Cruise was made possible by:
If you’ve never been to Halong Bay, you need to add taking a luxury cruise through Halong Bay to your bucket list! Halong Bay is a UNESCO World Heritage Site for a good reason. It is one of the most beautiful places we have ever seen! It’s filled with giant lime stone karsts that jut out of the water in every direction for miles.
The best way to experience the bay is by a luxury cruise. There are tons of cruise ship operators offering cruises through Halong Bay. The cruises range from cheap backpack boats to five start luxury cruise ships. Since visiting Halong Bay is most likely a once in a lifetime experience, we decided to splurge on a 5 star luxury cruise to ensure that we had the best experience possible!
We booked our cruise with Signature Cruise and we were elated with our experience. Seriously, we don’t have a bad thing to say about Signature Cruises, and that should mean a lot coming from me because when I splurge on an experience I am very critical. Also, the staff treated us like royalty! They made our experience even better.
Our luxurious cruise through Halong Bay started with an amazing lunch served while we were cruising to a floating fishing village. After arriving at the floating village we were rowed around the village in a row boat by one of the women who lived in the floating village. After our row boat ride was completed, we visited a pearl farm to learn how pearls are made. To be completely honest, this sounded kind of lame to me when I read it on the itinerary, but it was actually really interesting!
After leaving the pearl farm, we were taken back to the cruise ship. After an hour or so of relaxing and taking in the beautiful views of Halong Bay, we had a cooking class where we learned to make fresh spring rolls. After the cooking class we enjoyed happy hour with more beautiful views. After happy hour, a delicious five course dinner was served aboard the boat. After dinner I had the opportunity to try my hand at squid fishing. I got really lucky and managed to catch 10!

Vietnam: 12 Top places to visit part 1 ❤️
Here are 6 of the 12 Top places to visit while in Vietnam

1. Castaway Island, Ha Long Bay - Looking for a memorable weekend while visiting Vietnam? Then signing up for a few days on a private island owned by a party hostel in Hanoi is the way to go!
They pack anywhere between 50 and 100 excited backpackers onto junk boats, cruise around beautiful Ha Long bay. You then spend a few days on a deserted island relaxing on the beach, playing drinking games, rock climbing, kayaking and whatever else takes your fancy.
2. A visit to Hanoi is a must for any visit to Vietnam. The country’s capital city is chaotic, crazy and downright wonderful with its non-stop motorbike traffic and seemingly endless selection of street food and pho (Vietnamese soup) shops. A visitor could easily spend all day and night eating, but there’s so much more to do in Hanoi.
The best way to start a Hanoi visit is to explore the city’s Old Quarter and then check out sites like the Temple of Literature, Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum and the Hanoi Hilton. Remember to stroll around the Hoan Kiem Lake located near the Old Quarter. The lake is best at night when hordes of locals come out to socialize and eat ice cream cones before and after the sun sets.
3. Phu Quoc Island - While many travellers leave Saigon for the Northern parts of Vietnam to Hanoi and Halong Bay, locals flock to the largest island in Vietnam, Phu Quoc. Phu Quoc is a quick 40 minute flight from of Ho Chi Minh City, and it’s the perfect way to experience Vietnam without being inundated with other tourists.
Phu Quoc boasts a number of activities unique to the island that have remained authentic. The local pepper farms and honey bee farms are some of the “touristy excursions”, but with the lack of western travellers, they don’t feel touristy at all and have remained authentic. Even island hopping and snorkelling day-trips include fishing and interacting with the locals on the boat.
For travellers looking to get off the beaten track and experience the local culture, head to Duong Dong Market. This local market is bustling! It will give you a taste for the local culture and you definitely won’t see other tourists!
4. Ninh Binh is the perfect place, to kick start a 2 week adventure around Vietnam and Cambodia, and at the same time enjoy the natural untouched beauty of Vietnam.
Located around 95 km from Hanoi, it takes around two hours to reach Ninh Binh. The Open Bus Ticket is the best way to travel to Ninh Binh, alternatively, one can even take a day tour with any of the numerous travel agencies scattered all around Hanoi.
5. Dambri Waterfall Resort - Inside this massive park you’ll find the 70 metre Dambri waterfall. This high stream of water comes crashing at an unbelievable speed and makes for quite an incredible sight. While the view is impressive from the top, getting down there might make you realise just how big Dambri is. If you are driving through Vietnam then spend the night in Bao Loc, it’s worth the extra day out of your itinerary.
6. Less frequently visited Quy Nhon. Its atmosphere feels undiscovered; you’ll rely on local recommendations for restaurants and choose from just a few guesthouse resorts and one or two larger hotels. Check out the Long Khanh Pagoda, a landmark dating from the 18th century, whose 20th century Buddha is 17 meters high. Noteworthy: the Thap Doi Cham Towers, reminiscent of Khmer temples. Beach quality: terrific, with flat, sugary sand and no crowds.
To be continued in Part 2...

Vietnam Travel GoPro - Hanoi to Sapa sleeper bus FAIL
Vietnam Travel GoPro - Hanoi to Sapa sleeper bus: We took this as we travelled from Halong Bay to Sapa in North Vietnam. I was a long trip finishing up with the less-than-impressive sleeper express bus from Hanoi to Sapa. The sleeper bus we took was a tired old vehicle with lights that didn't work properly and very little leg room if you're 6 foot tall like me. The journey to Sapa valley in January was also cold, so make sure you wrap up warm on the bus if you decide to take it. The night bus isn't great, but it gets you to Sapa in one piece - and apparently, its much better now after they recently opened the expressway. Not sure what it must have been like before. Next time, I'll try the Hanoi to Sapa train!

23 Things To Do In Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City) Vietnam
►Read 23 Things to do in Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City), Vietnam:
►FREE eBook:
When I was in Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City), along with eating as much Vietnamese food as I could, one of my goals was to film a travel video about some of the best things to do in Saigon. After putting together a complete list, it turned out to be 23, and I hope this list of attractions will help and inspire you to visit Vietnam’s largest and most exciting city.
1. Binh Tay Market - Binh Tay Market is one of the largest wholesale distribution markets, and a perfect place to go if you’re looking to go shopping in Ho Chi Minh City.
2. Thien Hau Temple (Pagoda) - Located in Chinatown, in District 5, the temple is dedicated to Thien Hau and I really loved the sculptures and the elaborate design of the temple.
3. Museum of Ho Chi Minh City - This museum offers a glimpse into the history and development of the city and Vietnam.
4. Bitexco Financial Tower - This is the tallest building in Saigon, and you can either go to the Skydeck or a cafe at the top for a view of the city.
5. Independence Palace (Reunification Palace) - Probably one of the most well known tourism things to do in Saigon is to visit the Independence Palace, the the former home of the president of South Vietnam during the Vietnam War.
6. Saigon Cathedral of Notre Dame - With the French influence in Vietnam, the Notre Dame cathedral is a beautiful Catholic church. Attend a service or just visit.
7. Central Post Office - Designed by Gustave Eiffel, the Central Post Office in Ho Chi Minh City is an attraction mainly for its design and architecture. It’s a beautiful building.
8. War Remnants Museum - Although this is not one of the happiest attractions in Saigon, it’s a place to remember and honor the horrible events that are a result of a war.
9. Opera House - Right in Dong Khoi area, and there are still opera shows available.
10. Dong Khoi Street - This is the height of high end shopping in Saigon.
11. Saigon Zoo and Botanical Gardens - The zoo itself is not too great, but the beauty of the Saigon zoo is the botanical gardens, and the lush gardens, and taking a break from the city.
12. FITO Museum (Museum of Traditional Vietnamese Medicine) - I was quite impressed by the Vietnamese medicine private museum - very interactive and educational.
13. San Art Laboratory – If you love modern art, the San Art Laboratory is a great place to see and visit in Saigon.
14. Turtle Lake at Night - If you’re looking for some things to do at night in Saigon, head to Turtle Lake to chill out, relax, hang out with friends, and eat snacks.
15. Ben Thanh Market - One of the most famous things to do in Saigon District 1 is visit the Ben Thanh Market, one of the major central landmarks of the city.
16. Phu My Hung and Starlight Bridge - Located outside of central Ho Chi Minh City, Phu My Hung is a modern development, and a great place to walk around.
17. Water Puppet Show - Though originally from the north of Vietnam, water puppet shows are popular also in Saigon. I went to the Golden Dragon Water Puppet theater.
18. Museum of Vietnamese History - Probably one of the most extensive and important museum showing the history of Vietnam and Ho Chi Minh City.
19. Rooftop Bar - Seeing Saigon from above offers a great perspective.
20. Fine Arts Museum - This was my favorite of all the museums in Saigon. The museum is housed in a well preserved building, and the art is amazing - located right in District 1 across the roundabout from Ben Thanh Market.
21. Jade Emperor Pagoda - Dedicated to the Jade Emperor, the pagoda has a real ancient feel to it, and it’s worth seeing when you visit.
22. Local Wet Market - One of my favorite things to do is visit a local fresh wet market, which you’ll find all over the city. The ingredients, food, and culture, all stand out at fresh markets.
23. Vietnamese Street Food - By my ultimate favorite activity in Saigon is eating street food, and there are an abundance of delicious Vietnamese street foods to sample.
Thank you for watching this video about the top 23 things to do in Saigon, Vietnam. I hope it has given you some great ideas to help you plan your visit.

Travel vlog Vietnam • The Hidden Mural Village | Стрийт Арт Виетнам
One of the best hidden gems in Vietnam is located on the coast, 50 km south of the town of Hoi An. You'll be surprised of what you will find in the sleepy fishing village of Tam Thanh. In 2016 a program – backed by the Korean Community Art Exchange Program and the Vietnamese Peoples Committee of Quang Nam province – was established with the aim of creating ‘art for a better community.‘ Paintings would bring in tourists. More than a dozen artists of both Korean and Vietnamese descent spent two weeks in this tight-knit community painting over 100 murals across walls, fences, and facades. The result is more than impressive and the small village proudly takes a place on the map as a compulsory stop to every tourist.

Being located in Dau Khe Ha hamlet, Ninh Xuan Commune, Hoa Lu district, Ninh Binh province, Mua cave is one of must-see attractions that you should call on when doing trips to Ninh Binh. You can connect your visit to Tam Coc, Trang An or Bai Dinh pagoda with biking, then trekking to this cave.
Hang Mua has its meaning as “dancing cave” because this site was previously considered as the place where Tran king used to come to enjoy dancing & singing shows performed in this cave.
At the moment, Hang Mua has been developed as an eco-tourism complex with Hang Mua resort (peaceful & nice view of rural villages & mountains) that you can spend your relaxed night in, and with trekking activities you can take part in to visit Mua Cave.
Hang Mua is constructed following the model of “miniature Great Wall” in China with nearly 500 steps up to mountains to conquer. It is a hard trek up with many of its uneven limestone steps ( expecially at the top point) but worth your conquering efforts for impressive panoramic view of Tam Coc, Trang An & Ninh Binh city when you reach the top point of Ngoa Long mountain.Take your leisurely trek up with care due to steep steps on the way.For wonderful panoramic photos of golden rice fields & limestone monntains, you’d better arrange your trip to Ninh Binh & Mua cave between late May and early June ( sometimes early in May) when the rice is getting ripe and change from green to yellow colours.
The best time to visit Mua cave is in the morning or in the late afternoon when the sun is not so strong, and you cave have a great moment to view sunrising or sunsetting as well.
The entrance fee is 100.000 vnd/ person ( 5usd)
Distance 115km far from Hanoi (two hour drive)
How to get to Mua Cave?
Mua cave is 115km far from Hanoi and in two hour drive, you will reach the destination. You can join us in a private day tour to Ninh Binh connecting Tam Coc or Trang An with Hoa Lu ancient capial & Hang Mua.If you like natural scenery staying away from the city noice, you can spend 2-3 days to explore Ninh Binh attractions with rowing boat trip in Trang An or Tam Coc, Van Long nature reserve, trekking in Cuc Phuong national park or to Mua cave, biking along rural villages and mountains or homestaying with local family for authentic local culture & foods. I took my birthday trip to this stunning UNESCO World Heritage Site for its emerald waters, adventurous nature and its impressive scenery. This two day-one night junk boat tour was anything short of astounding. My group and I went kayaking, swimming, cave touring and ate like there was no tomorrow. I want to brag about my upgrade for it being my birthday. Hanoi Old Town Hotel, thank you.

Why You Should Visit DA NANG, Not HOI AN | Vietnam's Hidden Gem
Hoi An Vietnam is a very busy, overcrowded tourist trap. But just 30km away is Vietnam’s best hidden gem. A city that is far less visited and far more fun. This is why you should visit DA NANG not Hoi An!
In this travel guide, I will cover all of the best things to do in Da Nang: the best day trips, the Son Tra Peninsula, the ruins of My Son Sanctuary, Marble Mountain, My An district, the Dragon Bridge and My Khe beach and the best beach in Da Nang.
SUBCRIBE TO HEPSIMA:
ONE SHOT ADVENTURES / THE VIETNAM SERIES / EPISODE 4
Next Episode about the MY SON SANCTUARY:
Previous Episode from BAN GIOC WATERFALL:
EVERYTHING FEATURED IN THIS GUIDE:
0:42 - Hoi An in the morning
This is the best time to see Hoi An without crowds. Travel and Leisure magazine voted Hoi An as the best city in the world for 2019 - and this is when you can see why. The only thing you won’t see its famous magic lantern displays.
1:25 - Overtourism in Hoi An
Whilst it was once a charming Old Town, Hoi An’s historic streets are now being destroyed by the crowds of mass tourism. In places it now resembles a theme park.
3:23 - Best Things to Do in Da Nang Vietnam: Travel Guide
All the information on Da Nang starts here!
4:30 - My Khe Beach, Da Nang
5km of beautiful beach on the seafront of the city, right in front of My An. For me, this is a better tourist beach than An Bang beach in Hoi An - and the best beach in Da Nang.
4:57 - Son Tra Da Nang Vietnam (aka Monkey Mountain)
The best Da Nang motorcycle route and my favourite thing to do in the city. Home to the biggest buddha statue in Vietnam, an 800 year old Banyan, amazing viewpoints and the best hidden beaches.
7:53 - Marble Mountain Da Nang Vietnam
A cluster of five marble and limestone hills with temples and viewpoints. Busy, but good fun.
8:33 - My Son Da Nang Vietnam
Mỹ Sơn Sanctuary is a cluster of abandoned and partially ruined Hindu temples in Vietnam. Like a smaller version of Cambodia’s Angkor Was temples.
8:42 - My An Da Nang
Da Nang’s coolest neighbourhood, popular with digital nomads and expats for great coffee shops, restaurants and rooftop bars.
9:55 - Dragon Bridge Da Nang Vietnam
A bridge over the River Hàn in the shape of a dragon. It blows fire from it’s head on weekends (seriously)!
