Helsinki Stockholm on Viking Line Cruise
We took the weekend trip to Stockholm from Helsinki in October 2016. The Viking line has an overnight cruise from Helsinki, you can then spend a day(more like few hours) in Stockholm and return on the same ship. It was quite fun. There was even a magic show on the ship.
Day Cruise Helsinki-Tallinn-Helsinki by Viking XPRS
Short visit to Tallin from Helsinki by Viking XPRS. Ferry was fully-booked because it was Saturday and there are many summer parties coming....many people travel to Tallinn just to buy alcohol. Buses take people to the harbour from different parts of Finland.
This was very typical day cruise. Not much time, only 3:15 hours. You can get a view of the city and go to some shops.

Stockholm to Helsinki Overnight Ferry
Our overnight ferry on the Baltic Sea from Stockholm Sweden to Helsinki Finland was one of our favorite travel experiences. From cruising through the stunning Stockholm Archipelago to feasting on a Scandinavian smorgasbord of unique food this was an unbeatable way to get from point A to point B. Wish we could wake up in a new city all the time!

Cruise Helsinki-Stockholm-Helsinki | Silja Serenade
Day Cruise to Stockholm from Helsinki by Silja Line. (M/S SIlja Serenade). Silja Serenade is one of the biggest car ferries in the world. The ferry was built in 1990 and it had a big recunstruction of interior parts in 2006.
Silja LIne uses Värtan harbour in Stockholm.

In summer 2017, we visited Helsinki for a day by a cruise (Viking Line). As my mom has knee issues we couldn't see each and every attractions of the city but we could cover quite a lot because of the Hop on Hop off bus tour. We hope you all enjoy the city with us!

How to Arrive at Helsinki from Stockholm Central on a Budget | 14h: 25min Travel by Metro, Ship & Train
(Travelling as Solo in Europe)
First, I take a Metro from T-Centralen to Slussen, there will be 2 stops to arrive there.
When I arrived here at Slussen Metro stop, I do a 10 to 15 minutes walk to Stockholm Tegelvikshamnen Ferry Port, where I am going to take my Ferry the Viking Line to Turku Satama Finland.
I arrived here early in the departure area of Viking Line, so I will do some video editing and have my snack dinner here.
I am taking my Ferry now it's 7:00 p.m. to Turku Satama Finland, it will take 10 hours and 35 minutes, so I am going to sleep on the ferry.
So lovely and relaxing here in the ferry.
The panoramic view and the sunset are sospectacular.
I am in the duty free shop of the ferry, buying some snack and drink.
I am doing video editing also on the ferry.
I slept a little bit, I just wake up now and I am continuing doing video editing.
We just arrived now in Turku Satama, and I will take my bus now to the Turku Port train station.
I am on the Intercity train now to Helsinki. It will take about 2 hours and 8 minute trip. This train will stop in Turku, Kupittaa, Salo,
Karjaa, Kirkkonummi, Leppavaara, Pasila.
Finally, we arrive here in Helsinki, it was a lovely and panoramic trip.

M.S. Princess Anastasia, Helsinki to St. Petersburg, 72 Hour Free Visa Cruise/Ferry Into Russia
MS Princess Anastasia is a cruiseferry owned by Moby. Until September 2010, she was known as Pride of Bilbao, operated by P&O Ferries on their Portsmouth–Bilbao route. The vessel was built in 1986 as Olympia at the Wärtsilä Perno Shipyard in Turku, Finland for Rederi AB Slite, Sweden for use in Viking Line traffic. She was sold by Irish Continental Group to St. Peter Line in December 2010.
The SPL Princess Anastasia made her first voyage for the St. Peter Line in April 2011. She set sail from Saint Petersburg on 31 March and docked in Stockholm the next day on 1 April, completing her first passenger voyage since September 2010.
The ferry now operates on a circular service from Stockholm to St Petersburg stopping in Tallinn, Estonia on the outward journey and Helsinki, Finland on the return journey.

On the first day in Helsinki,, we took the Tallink Megastar for a trip on the Tallinn to Helsinki Ferry and went walking in Helsinki, Finland. What started off as a grey, overcast day turned into a stunning sunny afternoon stroll around the city. Come back tomorrow for day 2.

Viking Line - Helsinki Celebration
Over the past 50 years, travel across the sea has got more usual.
year 1959; Viking Line was created in the islands of Finland.
It started it's traffic the same year with s/s Viking, an old steamship from the early stage of 1900.
year 1985; they reached a new era, with glory and fasination, as the beautiful ship m/s Mariella went in to service. A route between Stockholm - Helsinki was now operated with Mariella & Olympia.
Sisterships built by Finlands top yards, and Mariella was the worlds largest cruiseferry.
today 2009; after 25 years of faithfull service on the route, we celebrate her, and the other ships in the fleet with this movie, so... sit back, relax and enjoy!
