During my family 's trip with Virgin Trains East Coast , First Class Experience from Kings Cross station London to Edinburgh Waverley station,United Kingdoms on 7 June 2016.
It was departed from platform number 7 of Kings cross St.Pancras London to Edinburgh Waverley station.
It departed at 0900hrs and arrived at 1322hrs .
Calling at Peterborough, York ,Darlington, Newcastle,Berwick-upon-Tweed & Edinburgh. Our coach was First class Quiet coach K,

Thanks so much for your support on the Flying the Nest Expeditions this week - we were absolutely overwhelmed - we appreciate you all so much and cannot wait to go traveling with you all.
We have now left England and made our way up to Edinburgh where we planned to see a lot more than we did...the weather just fell down on us with insane wind and rain during our time!
We managed to go around Old Town Edinburgh and see Edinburgh Castle and Princess street before literally having to pack up and leave Scotland to head straight down to Brighton in an attempt to escape the weather.

Virgin Trains First Class Trip Report from Birmingham New Street to Edinburgh Waverley
Here is a trip report video onboard the 16:15 virgin trains service from Birmingham New Street to Edinburgh Waverley.
This journey travels to Edinburgh Waverley via the West Coast Main Line via Preston and Carlisle. The journey took 4 hours and 15 minutes.
The journey was excellent and the service we experienced was very good as well and do recommend if you ever travel down that way to Birmingham that you travel with Virgin Trains in first class
This will be my last virgin trains trip report as I have done a lot of them and they most of there routes that are worth doing.

Virgin Trains First Class | London Euston - Glasgow Central 13/01/2018
In this video, we take a look at what Virgin Trains has to offer for First Class passengers on their Class 390 'Pendolino' service from London Euston to Glasgow Central, as well as points of interest and stations along the route! This journey was made on a weekend, so the weekend breakfast food menu is shown. There are fridges located throughout the first class carriages storing fresh orange juice and bottled water for the journey, which is not shown in the video. I must say, from Lancaster onwards, the scenery is absolutely amazing along the West Coast. This was a very enjoyable experience with Virgin, as per usual, we were mostly on time all the way to Glasgow, maximum 3 minutes late for the whole journey and even a couple of minutes early in some places! A journey that certainly won't be forgotten. Hope you all enjoy and let me know in the comments section if I should do another trip report style video and any improvements I can make on the next one. This was recorded weeks prior to the retirement of the HSTs from the London North Eastern Railway service. I was lucky to catch them before they would retire, though preferrably, I wanted to catch the Azuma.
The East Coast Main Line stretches over 393 miles (633 km) from London Kings Cross to Edinburgh Waverley. The line passes through many major towns and cities such as Peterborough, Doncaster, York, Durham and Newcastle and provides magnificent scenery along the route, particularly the Berwick Coast.
However, the recording of the video took place on a miserable rainy day so the raindrops ruined the clip later in the journey. Don't ask me to redo the video since I live in Australia and not the UK, which would require me to fly back to the UK to retake this clip, not to mention that the HSTs have retired already. Also please don't request me to extend my filming to Aberdeen for that same reason.

LONDON SCOTLAND April 2015. The second part of our Brit-Rail trip after travelling from Bristol was the journey up to Edinburgh. With April having the highest ever recorded hours of sunshine in England, it was a magnificent trip, easily done in one day.
Virgin Trains East Coast First Class From London Kings Cross to Edinburgh Trip Report
Hey guys here is a new Trip Report. In this trip report I will be traveling from London Kings Cross which is one of London’s terminus stations to Edinburgh Waverley the capital of Scotland.
The train we boarded was the 18:30 from London Kings Cross to Edinburgh Waverley.
Our first class complementary meal was a fully cooked meal from the first class menu which is linked at the bottom of the description. Followed by cheese and crackers for desert.
Our train for this journey was a BR class 91 locomotive laughing 9 BR Mark 4 coaches with a class 82 Driver trailer van (DVT) on the rear. There are 3 First Class coaches followed by a buffet car and 5 standard class coaches.

This is my third Virgin West Coast Trip Report and probably the most comprehensive. I really enjoyed this brief journey, of just over two hours. We travel from London Euston station and head for Liverpool Lime Street. City centre to city centre, it’s 2h12 minutes of pleasant scenery and tasty food, with breakfast served to my seat.
Virgin provide good value for money on this route. My ticket cost around £30 and included lounge access, free WiFi, onboard entertainment, and a cooked breakfast and beverages. Not bad. Of course, you have to book ahead to get the best deals!
Next UK train trip will be uploaded in 4 weeks’ time - it’ll be a belter, the GWR Pullman. Until then, I’ve got three air trips to publish.

My Virgin Train to London from Edinburgh Scotland
June 29, 2012: Taking the wrong train and departing Edinburgh for the 2nd time to London due to a washout and landslide on the Westcoast Line the day before. Virgin Rail is the only railway with a line open at this time and riders from 3 different lines will use this train. This train normally has 9 cars, but due to the washout of lines, It only has 5 cars and was brought over from Glasgow for our 6:56 am departure. It was a free for all trying to find seats to the point there were 55 riders standing in my coach and about an extra 250 riders on the train. Due to excess ridership, the train could not get up to 125 mph for 2 hours when the excess riders would be put onto another train down the line. Caught a window seat for the 5.45 hr train ride. Was to be picking up the other haft at London airport as we departed.
