Volcano Boarding in Nicaragua - have we gone mad ! Yes In this episode we actually go boarding down a volcano called Cerro Negro, which is an active volcano !
We share with your volcano boarding experience and have a lot of fun on the way.The trip was arranged by Volcano Day and our amazing guide Anke and Isa led us up up the 728m volcano.
What an experience and if you do come to Leon In Nicaragua you must try volcano boarding. There are a few companies that can arrange the trip - we chose Volcano Day and they we absolutely fabulous.

In case you don't know us - let us introduce ourselves - we are Chris (48) & Marianne (51). We are a married travel couple. We recently quit our jobs and sold our belongings to travel full time.
After more than 22 years of marriage we are still best friends
The aim is we are going to step foot in every country in the world before we die - or die trying !. We are currently also planning an epic around the world road trip. So stayed tuned for more clips as we TREAD the Globe in either Trudy the TREAD camper van or armed with our backpacks!

I had such a great opportunity come my way while traveling in Nicaragua. I was approached by (now) a good friend (Ryan) to help make a video for a hostel. Bigfoot was by far my favorite place I stayed in Central America. They know how to run a hostel and are always looking for ways to grow and provide more bang for your buck. Getting a tiny look behind the scenes of this place, I could really tell the are trying to stay one step ahead of the game. This is the final video I completed for them.
